A great buy for a multilingual house, but beware the translated grammatical mistakes.
"Bosley Sees the World" is the only one of the Bosley books so far (other than the first words one which has too few words to have mistakes) which does not have grammatical errors in it. These Errors are so slight that someone not fluent in German wouldn't notice them, but someone who speaks with native German speakers often is quick to see that there are times when the translations are too literal (as in German speakers don't speak like that) and other times when there are glaring incorrect words used (sometimes they aren't even translated). On a whole, the books are BEAUTIFULLY illustrated and the stories are fun for children learning to speak two languages at once. The grammatical errors are easily fixed for someone fluent in the language already.

Wonderful! But small mistakes.
I bought this book for myself, and find myself reading it over and over again in school and at my house. The story, though short, is quite adorable and will attract the attention of any child. The spelling is perfect; however, I've found small mistakes like apostrophes being turned the wrong way (in one case there is even a single apostrophe in a place where there is no speech) and double exclamation marks and question marks, which isn't proper. Just small things that won't bother a child, but might leave you wondering, "did no one proof-read this before publishing it?"Still, a wonderful books, cute story, nice pictures, and I recommend it to those interested in learning German (though have a basic understanding of easy phrases and simple words). It's extremely helpful that the two languages are right next to each other, too.

Bosley Sees the World
I used this book in my German class to help adult students learn to read and speak German. My students enjoyed the book and it helped them have fun learning German. A couple of them plan to buy this book for their grandchildren. As a teacher, it certainly has the right level of vocabulary for adults who are learning German for the first time and for those who are refreshing their German about 30 to 40 years after learning it the first time in college. We all give many thanks to Timothy Johnson and his associates for creating beginner level dual language books.

Fun for learning German
I bought this book as a way to have a cute short story presented in both German and English side by side (trying to learn German as it's my husband's native language). It was a fun little book and I liked how the key words were highlighted in green on the page to help you connect with and recognize them.

Great to read to little ones
Our six month old son loves the Bosley bear series. The books are very interesting to him, and I love the German and English translations side by side. In the back, there are vocabulary lists, which are helpful. I am learning some new words myself! As a stay-at-home mom, I find it interesting to practice a language and read to my baby at the same time, I feel that it benefits us both!

Great book
This is great for English-German readers or speakers. The story is a little long for a younger beginner reader but it highlights the key words for each paragraph in the story. I will be buying more of these once this one has been mastered by us.

Shouldn't be on kindle. The formatting is terrible. You can barely read the text most of the time. The German is very basic; almost pointless having the English. And there's not a great deal of it; not much more than 10 pages I think. So you can read it in a couple of minutes, if that. Not much for your money. Great idea, sloppily executed. The pictures are nice enough, I suppose.

Excellent dual language learning
This children's book came promptly and is excellent for my 3 year old grandson, who is moving from Hong Kong to Germany and is learning German. A fun story in English and German, making language learning very accessible. Helps the adults who read it too!!

great idea
Unfortunately my copy of this book was not 'trimmed' very well, so there was a gap at the bottom of the page and the text was almost trimmed off from the top of the page. The bi-lingual idea was great, and appreciated by some of my English family based in Berlin
