Well worth the money, don't waste your time & money on aftermarket cartridges!
I waited over a year to give this review, so I could give an honest review regarding performance!I originally purchased this Canan cartridge on 1/29/2022 and as of 2/21/2023 I am just now having to replace the cartridge. As an e-commerce seller, I use my printer religiously, at least 4-5 days a week, Not only do I print shipping labels I print address labels, Avery stickers, packing slips for each order, full double-sided instruction sheets, and many other items pertaining to online business. Toner stays on the paper and doesn't wipe off like cheap toner tends to do. Toner does well with at least 100 pages printed at a time.I have gone through 3400 sheets, plus about 250 sheets of the current ream that is open & about 840 sheets of stickers, shipping labels, etc. So nearly 4500 sheets total. So yes the cartridge does last as long as advertised which CANNOT be said for the aftermarket cartridges.Prior to purchasing this one, I tried two other different aftermarket brands. One order was $59.99 & the other was $49.95, totaling $109.94. Each one of those purchases came with three " high capacity" cartridges. In the first order two of the three would just leave huge black streaks through the paper, the one good cartridge lasted for 1.5 reams (750 sheets). Then with the other order, all three cartridges lasted 2500 pages and the toner just wasn't as sharp. I had to constantly keep taking it out and putting it back in because it didn't want to print correctly. At that point is when I bit the bullet and bought this one & I'm very glad I did because by buying this cartridge I have actually saved money & time! I paid $101 for this cartridge then. This cartridge works EXCELLENT in my Canon ImageClass MF264dw (black & white) printer which is now 3 years old. Cartridge Prints clearly and precisely the way they should. The printer reads the cartridge well other than it will tell you the cartridge needs to be replaced a bit too early. It started telling me the cartridge needed to be replaced about 1.5 reams before it needed to, that's probably due to the manufacturer's recommendation saying it can print to 4100 pages, but with that being said I have always pushed toner cartridges to their max and farther, so for other buyers, it's probably right on. About 100 pages ago you could really tell it was faded but as of now it's seriously time to replace it, but as I stated above it has already lasted BEYOND the manufacturer's recommendation.I would strongly suggest you don't get hung up on the aftermarket brands with their appealing low-priced multi-packs and just stick with the quality OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) Canon products because as you can see I spent $110 for 6 aftermarket cartridges and printed half of what I could print with ONE high capacity Canon toner cartridge for only $101. Those other aftermarket toners always sell in two to three packs for a reason, it seems like you are getting a better deal but you really are not. I normally go with aftermarket products on almost everything I purchase but this proved to be the only way to go. You have a customer for life with me, thank you for providing a quality product that lasts!!

You get what you pay for
I have tried the knockoff brands and was never happy with the results. Now I only buy the Cannon Toner. It alway puts out sharp and crisp copies. It is definitely more expensive but well worth the money after trying several of the other brands.

Only Manufacturers Cartridges in My Printers
I have been using laser printers since 1986 (when I worked at Apple). If I learned one thing after all years is that off-brand cartridges can bury your printer. I learned this lesson more than once (yeah, I was cheap) but never again. Buy the real deal. The longer life, extra capacity cartridges are the way to go.

Product seems to work - an original Canon Ink for our printer. Will review again if after longer use something is not right. Happy with purchase.
