Puentes Denver Tie Bar Pin Skinny Width 1.5" Gift Boxed

I purchased this on behalf of my fiance, who's review of the product is below:The tie clip works well, and looks good. I've actually been surprised at how well it stays in place. My only issue is because it's a slide on, and not the alligator clip style, it can be tricky to get it on. I snagged one of my ties a little, but I think once you get used to it it's not terribly difficult. On the contrary if it was easy to slip on it would probably be too loose to stay in place all day, so it's a net positive. 4.5 stars.

Advertised as 1.5", Tie Bar is actually 2". My skinny tie is 2" and a given rule of thumb is to not have a tie clip the same length as the width of your tie. Still a nice product, good thing not all my ties are skinny.

This is quite nice. Some reviews mention that it is too tight, but that has not been my experience. Of course one should proceed with care in putting it on and taking it off, but it must be tight enough to stay in place. I'm enjoying it and get compliments when I wear it.

My husband has been looking for a simple versatile tie bar for months now, so I decided it would make the perfect gift! So glad I found this specific tie bar! It's so sleek and simple that it goes with all of his ties. I don't think he's gone a day at work without wearing it since. The material is great quality, and honestly unbeatable for the price. gold tie bar pin is a perfect size for skinny ties at 2.5 size. slides on easily on my silk tie but leaves a bit of a snag.

Clip is very small which is mostly my fault. Didn't look at the dimensions, figured they were all about the same. Did work with a 3" tie. Simple and clean looking.

I'm very pleased with this purchase overall. The tie bar came as expected (both in terms of delivery and the product itself). It looks great (simple but classy without being too eye-catching; logo is laser etched onto the front face but is not noticeable unless you are look at the bar in the right light) and works as it should (i.e. it stays in place).

Perfect width for any 2.5" - 2.75" skinny tie. Clasping force holds for the entire day. The gift box was a nice surprise. I use it to store collar stays. I wouldn't use this for thick fabrics, linen for example. It's very hard to attach. Go with a tie clip instead.
