Hobby Wing 38010205 Ezrun Max10 ESC, with 3652SL G2 Sensorless Brushless Motor - Combo (5400Kv)

I bent the motor shaft on a vileneon 3500, had to send the motor and esc back to traxxas for replacement and needed something in the interim. Gave this a try and preforms better than expected. Its powering a rustler 4x4 vxl. Doesn't have the greatest torque can get stuck in thick brush and can't crawl up rocks, but once the wheels are turning its a great motor with high top speed using 2s lipo. With the low price my expectations weren't high. But it has out preformed my bashing expectations time and bash time again. Really like the ability to place the power button in a convenient location. But wish the esc had mounting holes as the double sided tape didn't hold up.Overall though 4.5 - 5 stars.

I installed this combo on an older brushed HPI eFirestorm and man did it wake up! This was the first time I'd ever done a motor replacement and it was very easy and took about 45 mins to complete. Once installed I couldn't believe the difference it made! With no gear changes and on 2s this was easily twice as fast as the previous brushed setup and on 3s it's a wheelie machine! Wide open on 3s it flat out moves, easily as fast if not faster than my 3s brushless Granite. Being on a 2wd truck though it takes some finesse to keep the wheels down. I haven't had a ton of time bashing it but from what I've experienced I would highly recommend this to someone wanting to hop up their combo.

Great deal for great power! I installed this combo on my Kyosho Fazer MK2 GT3 and its very durable and runs superb! I have crashed my RC car lots of times because of the HIGH speeds this motor generates along with the 36t PINION I had to buy separately. I do need some better tires as well. I highly recommend this combo.

I have had the Ezrun max 10 for a month now and let me tell you this motor and ESC combo makes some serious power! I run it on both 2 and 3s lipo batteries and the motor and ESC seem to handle the power just fine. For the money this motor and ESC combo is worth its weight in gold!!!

it's a great setup for a sct truck. I put it in a kyosho outlaw rampage, and I'd say it's almost too much motor but it's just insane. the only thing I wish is that the motor leads were a little bit longer or they gave you some extensions

I put this into a heavily modified tamiya tt-02 B buggy and it cogs on takeoff badly. Tried all 5 punch settings with the same result...

Not happy at all:( The very first day I installed the ESC and motor combo it died on me. I may have run the buggy on the street for about 30 minutes on and off tops, I called my son to show him how much faster the buggy went and within four pulls the throttle stopped working. I thought maybe one of my connections came loose but sadly it wasn’t so. A few days later I took it to my local hobby to trouble shoot the problem and sure enough the motor stopped working. The sad part is I don’t even know how that could be possible, the motor or ESC never got hot, barely even warm, I purchased the suggested combination, and my gearing is still stock. So imagine my frustration. Mind you I’m a grown married mature adult with a family and I haven’t had time to deal with the matter. I actually waited a week before I installed the brushless system just because I didn’t have the time to mess with it. So when I finally installed it I was like a kid in the candy store and couldn’t wait to try it out. So what do I do, do I loose faith in hobbywing products? As far as I know I’m stuck cause I didn’t purchase it directly through hobbywing, instead I purchased it through a vendor cause I wanted to get it sooner.

The moter is cherry but the esc is not good i use 2 cell on it and it gets super hot that the moter stops working i put a stronger and biger fan on esc and dos the same this combo shod not be a 60 amp it needs 120
