Personal Accuracy Tests You Might Find Helpful
I like all the features of this small, light-weight pedometer, but I was most interested in testing the accuracy when measuring steps. I played with many variables when testing, such as walking fast, walking slow, changing stride length, varying the speed of the steps within my sample, etc. I found none of these things really mattered when it comes to accuracy. What really matters, and significantly, is where you place this device. Here are my results: (1) In my pocket, accuracy was terrible. It could be off as much as 30%. (2) Clipped at various locations on my belt, or on the neckline of my shirt, results were quite good - inaccuracy was between 2-4%. However, when I placed the device on a lanyard around my neck, the results have been great - inaccuracy of less the 0.5%. That is extraordinary for what I understand is a one mechanical pendulum device. This morning I recorded five separate 400 step samples and took the step readings after each. Here were the readings: 402, 402, 401, 402, 400. In all 30+ tests I have run this week, the inaccuracy is always on the high side. In conclusion, if placed in a proper location, this is a very accurate and valuable tool for keeping track of your steps, miles, time duration, speed, and calories burned. It's cool and I hope I keep putting it to good use.

Simple device that provides just what I need!
So a few weeks before buying this, I bought a FitBit One. I found it a ridiculously complicated piece of equipment, and sent it back the same day. I originally bought the Omron HJ-112 Digital Pocket Pedometer in 2010, but never used it. It was hard to see. But a few months ago, I gave it to my husband who has worn it non-stop. This made me want one again! I didn't have the heart to ask him for it back as he loves it so much.I did a lot of research and just couldn't find what I wanted. The newer Omron's didn't seem to have as much positive feedback as my old one, which was really expensive now. Then, I saw the OZO. The reviews convinced me to give it a try. And the fact that it seemed simple and easy and UNCOMPLICATED.I LOVE IT! I've been wearing it nearly every day. It was so easy to set up. The screen is as big, bright, and clear as the picture shows.OK, I did get a bit mixed up at first with the modes in searching for the step mode because it also shows you previous day's steps. :-) But that is not the product's fault!I love that it automatically resets every day.As for accuracy, once I understood that this pedometer, as it seems is true with most, doesn't count the first 15 steps, I was fine with it. I don't need a precise count of every step. I want to see the big picture of how many steps I'm doing over the course of the day.And the clip is really tight, so I don't worry that it will slip off. This pedometer is just perfect for me. I highly recommend it.

AWESOME COMPANY!
At first I had some problems getting my pedometer to register steps. Disgusted I arranged to return the product. Before had a chance to, I recieved a follow up e-mail making sure I was satisfied. I explained the situation in a reply & immediately got a response from David. Ended up the step program was set for pause. He explained fully on how to rectify it and VIOLA' it worked! More companies should follow their example of concern for satisfied customers. What a GREAT company to do business with! Thank you guys!

My new bestie
I am thrilled to have this. It keeps me up and moving. Every time I look to see how many steps it motivates me to walk more. I like how easy it is to read and set up. The follow up email was impressive and the price is well worth it. Sized right and the clip is strong to hold in place. I also like how it tells you how many calories you burned...what a nifty little gadget. I am very pleased!

A nice reasonably priced pedometer
A nice reasonably priced pedometer. Good for average population. The supplier provides detail setup instruction and is easy to follow. It also includes a brief user manual on the welcoming email which helped me to get pedometer working on my trip. The story is like this: while on my trip suddenly I discovered the my pedometer stop counting the steps. Tried many ways and pushed different buttons couldn't get the "little man"on screen walking. In a panic, I remember the welcoming email I saved in my file, ( good thing I carried my iPad), attached to the email it mentioned to push and hold the mode button until the "little man"on the screen walking again. And that worked. I was very relieved. The pedometer starts to count the step again. Everything is working again. I am happy.

The supplier (OZO Fitness) did a good job of responding promptly and refunding me
I got one, and it seemed weirdly programmed, so the supplier sent a new one with the same issues. The supplier (OZO Fitness) did a good job of responding promptly and refunding me, but the pedometer itself just didn't work out. Here are the things I don't like: pedometer was just randomly erasing steps; this happened all the time when on my belt. I moved it to a sock (has a solid clip) and it was better, but still happened. I think it's possible that the reset button is just too easily pushed and held if squatting or bending etc. The previous days are counted weirdly - so the longest ago day is day 2, then one day more recent is three, two days more recent four, etc. Nothing ever showed up on previous day 1 for the time I used it. Very odd. You can't turn it off, altho you can put it in a non-counting mode; my first arrived NOT having been paused, so battery was in full use before I ever received it (and apparently counted the steps for whoever was carrying it around in shipping). I personally found I didn't care for it not counting the first 15 steps; would rather that was adjusted to 10. There is no little loop to attach to a lanyard or security cord. So...the customer care was great, product not so much

Kept resetting. I threw it out
I followed the setup instructions on You Tube (the package insert instructions were too confusing), and it worked for a while. Then the step count kept resetting to zero, and I'd look down, and there would be a new set of steps. I don't feel like adding them all up at the end of the day.

Plain and simple Pedometer
As I am on my feet most of the day and because of electronic interference from cell phones this is the only type of pedometer that I am able to use at work. It is very accurate, easy to use, very lightweight and slim, I do not feel it on my belt (I use it as per stock photo). I do have a cellphone with an app, but it stores and shares too much info, also the cellphone is heavy on the belt or arm compared to this pedometer. I'm glad I got one and as I said in the headline, it is plain and simple to use and this is what I was looking for.

It does count your steps and you can also do the calorie count.
I did not like the size of the tool or the clip to attach it to the clothing. I also had a bit of trouble setting the clock and at the beginning it did not start recording until I took at least 20 steps. It also reset everything at midnight and as I was keeping track on a weekly basis I had to chart it separately. However, it may have been "just me" taking so long and having those troubles as I am not mechanically inclined. The price was right though, I guess you get what you pay for.

Just what the doctor ordered... :)
No need to charge every week or so like the wrist ones. Stick in pocket, good to go.Very easy to read numbers (as opposed to wrist ones). Keeps excellent time and seems very accurate as a counter.

pedometer
My husband is disabled and has mobility issues. Wrist fitbits did not work as his right arm does not swing and his left arm is on a cane so not enough movement to record accurately. This pedometer goes on his functional foot and records what we need to know as he is trying to increase his number of steps.

Great Functionality and Ease of Use
It was well packaged for shipping. My wife is pleased with the functionality of this device and the large display (when compared to other pedometers we checked out). She also appreciated the web link to watch the video on the set-up and use for it. Highly recommend it.
