Purchased these as replacements for our Christmas Village houses that we put on our fireplace mantle during the holidays. IMHO they are WAY too bright ( see pic ). I'll be looking for a softer alternative. Nothing wrong with the bulbs at all, but WOW are they WHITE and BRIGHT!!

What I liked..... GREAT brightness, TRUE color.I was looking for a bright bulb to put in my electric candles in my windows at my home. I had purchased the green and the yellow. I put them in my windows for the green bay packers playoff games. My house look like I was a proud fan for the Green Bay Packers through the playoffs. 15 Electric candles lit with alternating yellow and green.

I bought these little lights to use in a ceiling fan that called for night lights. The fan remote allows you to dim the lights so when I saw these, I was excited because these bulbs are dimmable. They do dim, except on the lowest setting - they create a strobe light effect. (Not exactly what I was looking for in our bedroom! :P ) I would absolutely buy them again because they work well and are much brighter than incandescent bulbs.

I ordered these twice. The first time everything was fine. The second time one bulb was missing from the pack, and I had to get a replacement and send the defective order back - a hassle, hence the 3 star rating. The bulbs themselves are good. They are very bright, too bright in my opinion for usual night light duty, but good for partial illumination of little used rooms with no windows (basement furnace rooms, etc.) They use so little electricity that I have a few I just leave lit 24/7. Color temperature looks right for 2700K (soft white). They only work with switched night lights - they do not work with electric eye night lights.

Correct brightness for a night light (so, no very bright but you can still see what you're doing) I had some new LED night lights but they are light activated only. I have several old ones with incandescent lights, and are switched. I wanted to use those in my bathroom since the regular lights are super bright and when I get up to pee in the middle of the night I don't want to be blinded. They work great and are the perfect amount of light.

You can't beat these for the price. They're very bright but the color temp is closer to 3000k if not a little cooler (by my eye). I bought these for window candles but they're too bright for me...but for the price I'll find another use for these. They dim well and I confirmed they use about 1W per bulb.

These bulbs are great! I have over a dozen plastic Halloween pumpkins that came with regular incandescent bulbs, and replaced all of them with these led bulbs. The color accuracy for a bulb of this type (night light type) seems great to me, if not even a little warmer, which I won’t complain about!

They are brighter and more on the white side of the light color. Used these to replace the old incandescent bulbs for the window Christmas candles. They use such little energy might keep in windows all year now.
