I only got to use it one weekend so far but combined with the one I had it made for a comfortable night (I put this on the inside of the bag and the other on the outside) with a flannel sheet also inside. I came and car camp now no more backpacking trips, no more 50 miles a weekend.

I got this pad for a really good deal, and had wanted one for quite a while. I actually bought it after last season so it had to wait to be used. I took it out and let it sit for a day with the valve open. It still wasn’t all the way inflated but figuring it was tight from manufacturing I blew some air into it and it worked perfectly. I laid on it on my basement floor and was pretty happy with it. Fast forward several months, I used it while out tent camping, rustic setting. In the middle of the night it started making a really loud crackling sound. My friend thought an animal was scratching outside the tent. Woke us both up at 2am it was so loud. Come to find out whatever medium is inside was ungluing itself from the outer shell and now there is a large air bubble that forms rendering the pad useless. Pretty much the first time using it. Really disappointed.Update: the pad is advertised with a 12 month warranty. I contacted the company because I was still in the warranty window. Initially they indicated they would exchange the pad with me and after a couple messages they went silent. It’s been 2 months and they haven’t responded at all.

Not being a seasoned camper and wanting to maximize my chances for a good night's sleep in a tent at age 51, I purchased this pad. The pad comes compactly packed and unfolds easily. While self-inflating, I found it helpful to add a few of my own breaths to maximize the cushion. I think it helped quite a bit. Packs up reasonably easily in the included carrying bag. I am somewhat concerned about the lifespan of the carrying bag, however. I felt I came close to splinting one of the seams. Good price. Overall, I am very happy with the purchase. Would purchase again.

The texture and padding were the best I’ve felt in a camping pad (hence the 4 stars), but it was surprisingly large and heavy, even when rolled and deflated. Not great for hiking trips where you want to minimize weight and bulk (which is what I was hoping for), but excellent for slumber parties or backyard camping!

Bough this for a night out camping trip for a 9 year old. After a quick intro session on how to unpack it and pack it he "got it" and was able to "operate" it by himself. This pad worked very well, provided great cushion . The bag it cam with is a bit too flimsy though - a bit of rough shoving and the stitching gave way. But the pad itself worked great, did not leak, did not deflate and was easy to set up and repack.

Worked really well for what it's worth. It's a little bulky in the bag, and I wish it was a little bit wider. But it was very comfortable and only required a small amount of additional inflation once the auto fill finished.

It is pretty cool how this sleeping pad inflates itself. When the air is let out, the pad becomes very compact and is ideal for backpacking. The comfort was exactly what we had hoped for. Unfortunately, the durability of this pad became an issue. The pad was used as extra comfort on top of older mattresses while staying at a cabin for two weeks and survived just fine. A couple of weeks later, we tried to inflate it again but the pad lost its form. It had trouble inflating itself so we attempted to blow air into ourselves. Rather than inflating flat, an 18-inch perfectly round air bubble formed in the middle of the pad, making it useless.

I got this pad for my son who goes camping a lot with the scouts. Tried it first at the house to see how it works. It took about 45mins the first time to fill. I did not try to blow it up at all just left it to self-fill. Since then my son has used it a number of times and said it works great for him.
