I didn't by this product for pain but to use on acupuncture points. And no matter how easy the pen is to use, and it is simple, you still have to go through a learning curve, both to get used to how the pen operates and also how to locate acupuncture points. I have ordered several other acupuncture devices on Amazon and this one is the first that I've truly been pleased with. For one thing, every other made-in-China health device I've purchased in the past had a user manual which was in garbled and only semi-understandable English. In contrast, the manual that comes with this pen was obviously written by someone entirely fluent in AMERICAN English! I was thrilled when I discovered that for once I was actually gonna be able to understand a user manual for a Chinese product. And this manual even has pages of diagrams showing the location of the body's acupuncture points. However, even with that, I highly recommend, if you're serious about getting the best effect from this pen, to really dig into the internet and research the location of acupuncture points. Plus it would help, and I've done this myself, to go to a few appointments with a good acupuncture doc and pick his or her brain as to best points to use for your particular ailment, and the precise location of those points. The pen I bought came with two different electrode heads. One of the can zero in exactly on an acupuncture point, but I use the 3/4" diameter electrode head a lot because it allows me to more apt to still hit the acupuncture point even if I'm off target a tad. Yes, as some reviews have complained, there is some shock involved. However, this isn't bad thing. It's information letting you know you've got an active circuit and the pen is doing its job! If you feel nothing in the hand holding the pen, chances are you don't have a circuit. Electrode jell is included, but not much, and it will run out fast, but not a problem. You can use a lot of stuff to make accomplish electrical contact. Aloe vera jell works good. In fact, hey, in a pinch you can simply spin on the connection, although a jell will tend to remain wet longer and keep the electric contact running. I bought two of these pens and am glad I did because this means I can cut in half the amount of time it takes to address acupuncture points that are in pairs, one on each side of the body, such as, for instance K1, bottom of the foot, and K3 between the inside of the ankle bone and the ankle tendon.

This would be better if the shock or current stayed at the tip and on point of contact. It shocks your hand as you are holding it and alarms you. Once you know it isn't so bad but again would be better if it only sent to current to the place you are touching. Now I understand that part of this may be user error.

I have arthritis in my hands, muscle atrophy in the webs of my hand and carpal tunnel, and my mother used to dress me funny.This zapper at only 3 or 4, really has helped with the ache in my hands and even the dexterity of my thumbs a bit. I'm over 60 and this zapper helps...I don't know if it strengthens the muscles or kills the nerve pain, but either way, it works for me! It did not help with the way my mother used to dress me, however. If I could figure out a way to grind it up and drink it, I would!

So the concept of this is great... but it is unusable. The current does not work if your holding the pen yourself and then put it on yourself. And if you have another person hold the pen, the current is too strong. I don’t really know how to explain it scientifically... but I can tell the current is strong and can help with pain. But because electricity runs in a circuit? This tool does not work....

It's cheaply made, yes, but it does what it's supposed to do. I think the shock that's felt all over the pen is due to a design flaw, but it doesn't bother me much, and it's not really a strong shock. I have used acu pens that cost over $100 before, and this pen works just as good as those expensive ones - for me, that's the bottom line. Very strong shock from the tip and each level clearly delivers different amount of shock.I bought this pen because I had some finger joint pain that didn't go away over time. I used it once each day for just two days, and the joints are much improved. The sharp pain is gone, and I'm able to move the joints much better. Without a doubt, the pen cleared whatever was blocked in my joints. The pen's durability is still to be tested, but I'm very pleased with the purchase.

Love love love this pen. It works as well as the $500 Nuskin Trinity device. I use it at the 1,2,3 levels and use it just the same way they teach you to use the trinity device. You can find all kinds of instructions on YouTube.5 min every other day will keep your facial muscles toned and lifted amd your skin refreshed and firmer. Don’t hesitate to purchase this device. If it zaps your holding hand wrap it with a cloth. Sometimes it does and mostly it doesn’t. Only if you are trying to run the device at a higher voltage.This pen is AMAZING!!!!!

So, at first it was cool, but when you turn the setting up, it shocks your hand more than whatever it's making contact with. Doesn't hurt, it gets uncomfortable, and it hasn't done a good job with pain relief since it wont discharge the electricity into where it needs to go, instead it goes in your hand and arm lol. It's made of plastic, and barely any metal, the setting controls are upside down. But hey, who am I to complain for cheaping out. Definitely a "Pay for what you get" product. Don't believe me, or the other people who warned of the same thing? Spend the money. I read the reviews, and I was like "maybe they got a faulty one" but nope, 100% the manufacturer's fault. Don't drop it either, mine fell and split in half, still works, and still discharges into my hand. (Mind you even before dropping or anything, it discharged into my hand, so it's not from droping it.) it's 2 pieces, with the most basic wiring job done ever. Steer away, or buy it, but don't say no one warned ya, and don't get upset when it doesn't work very well.

Eu nao consegui usar devido ao choques que o produto dá... é bem estranho o funcionamento pq se eu tento utilizar em outra pessoa, ele não dá a descarga nela...ou seja, nem aciona, nao vibra ou se o faz, faz com choque e se a própria pessoa se encostar nela mesma, então a descarga de choque é bem forte. Diferente do que li nos comentários...não é leve ou fácil de aguentar não. Por isso achei péssima, não consigo utilizar, passou prazo de devolver e eu perdi meu dinheiro. Uma pena. Não recomendo!Ah e sim, comprei um gel adequado como li no comentários pq o quê "teoricamente" deveria acompanhar o produto...não veio, somente os potes. Secou no caminho....
