Orange Planet Obsidian Slide Board

My go to exercise every morning. Really easy to store and very high quality. It really gives you a great workout.

Too expensive for what it is! Cheap plastic edges snapped after several uses. The stitching on the socks came undone.The board comes rolled up so when you lay it out it wants to curl back up again. (I solved this by fixing it to a sheet of 18mm plywood).Once I fixed to the ply, sewed the boots and re-made the edges it was alright I suppose!

I am 6' 1" and got this to help me with my soccer game as keeper. This really helped my lateral movement and it built up my ankle and knee stability. I highly recommend the slideboard workout, however; and this is important. THIS BOARD IS ONLY 5' LONG and IF YOU ARE TALL YOU WILL OUTGROW IT!! If you are a hockey player or a speed skater you may already need a larger size. It took me a while to get the hang of the motion, but within a few weeks I was wishing for a larger size.A month ago I got a 10' adjustable board from a hockey supply website that can adjust from 10' down to just a few inches. I am much happier with this one, and it only cost an extra $50.So if you're a smaller person or getting one for a child, this one will work for you. If you're bigger, definitely get a larger size, preferably adjustable.

Had problems with the ends curling up and could not get them to uncurl even when rolling it up in the opposite direction. Also the board slide on harwood and carpet so when working out I would have to stop and reposition it:( I did contact the seller buytopten and Herman was so helpful and concerned that I be 100 percent happy with my purchase so after all the things he had me try to fix these issues did not work so he did refund my purchase and I was very happy. I would recommend this seller but I would not buy this again.

Nobody likes to buy something and have an issue with a defective product. The clear plastic rails cracked fairly quickly after my 5th day of use, so I went to obsidianslideboards.com and called their customer service number. I talked to an employee who thanked me for reaching out to them first instead of writing a negative response about their product on Amazon. the company apologized for the inconvenience and sent out a new pair of rails with priority shipping. They also wanted me to know that they cared about me as a customer and sent me a free DVD of my choice to make up for the few days that i couldn't use the board. I was very happy with how I was treated and I will definitely buy a larger board once i graduate from the 5 foot length. I recently had knee surgery and I have had so much pain trying almost anything else. THIS IS THE BEST EXERCISE PRODUCT I HAVE EVER USED AND I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT WITH ANYONE WITH KNEE PAIN, OR ANYONE WHO WANTS TO GET BACK INTO SHAPE AFTER A LONG BREAK FROM REALITY.

This is such a great workout, legs will be on fire! It reminds me a lot of ice skating, so great for the inner and outer thighs. I was a little hesitant at first, I was afraid of sliding around too much or falling over - but never happened. Once I got the hang of it it was pretty fun. The box has the guide and DVDs so you can learn how to best use it, and use it for more than just legs. I have already been recommending it to my friends.

What a great work out.I'm really excited about this new workout, it's actually fun and because it's fun it's motivating. It feels like I'm using muscles that I have never really tapped into bedore. As for the quality of the board, i believe it is really good. When I unroll it, I roll it in the opposite direction and it lays flat inmediately. I have not had any issues with the end stop like I have read in other reviews, plus when I bought my board the listing said "New and improved end stops", so I'm sure they are fine. The DVDs are not HD so on my big HDTV they don't look the best but they were a good intro to begin using the board. Also I've been using the board for about 3 or 4 months now and I have noticed that it has become slicker as I use it wich is great because I'm getting better at it and now I can glide back and forth at a faster pace. I give it 5 stars.
