Great kayak/car camping chair! New design good for sand/mud and a bit more stability.
I recently went on a 7 day kayak trip and everyone had this style of chair except I. I brought a folding stool and boy was my lower back angry by day 5. I found myself jumping into other peoples chairs when they vacated them so I could lean back and relax for just a couple minutes. But their chairs weren't perfect, they had some cons. First, the chairs were sinking into the sand and mud due to having 4 tiny feet. Second, the stability bar ran front to back and the feet extended side to side causing bad side to side stability. They had to find 4 flat rocks when we made it to camp every night to prevent sinking and stability issues. For this reason I bought the new Marchway version with the wide feet. The Marchway also has the stability bar, the one parallel to the ground, running from hip to hip instead of front to back. This gives much better stability than the chairs they purchased. Another plus is that the new version has wide feet that snap on firmly and stay attached if you pick up the chair to move it. They are easily removable and don't weigh much (3.4oz).Weight without wide feet and without carry case: 1lb 14.4ozWeight with wide feet and without carry case: 2lb 1.8ozWeight with wide feet and with the carry case: 2lb 4.3ozPros:-The wide feet on the new model snap on firmly and work well in sand/mud.-Wideer feet on the new model add some font/back and side stability-Packs smaller than a stool so it can fit in a dry bag, keeping it from getting wet when kayaking/hiking.-Portable and easy to fold up and fit back into carry case.-Has a backing so you can relax and lean back into itCons:-Twice the weight (but 1/3 the price of a Helinox Zero)-Due to it's light weight it can blow away in strong winds (Flip the chair upside down and put a rock on it to prevent this)-Wobbles a little when moving in the chair but it still feels sturdy (I am 6' tall 170lbs)

The chair got here today, first impression? Not so good.
Pros: The chair is very easy to build, takes about a minute. The materials look very strong. The mesh seems it will last and the stitching looks on point. The poles look strong enough to hold me (I’m 205 lbs) and the chair is not bad looking. Because of the angle I can lean back and I don’t feel like it will tip back. The carry bag looks like it’s made from rip-stop material and it has a strip of Molle system that can be attached to other gear. (Although I wished they would have located it in the bottom and not on the side). Packed, it measures approx 13”x5”x4.5”.Cons: 3 things jump out. First- Once the chair is set up it seems secure while I’m sitting and leaning back. (I set it up on flat concrete surface). The issue is that if I move, even just a bit to rearrange the movement to the sides makes the chair wobble; almost fells like it may collapse. That’s a problem because I will be using this chair in less than perfect ground. I bought it for motorcycle camping and I usually camp in remote areas, I’ll see if it withstands. Next- I noticed that the bungee cord inside the poles look suspiciously cheap. I’ve had some bad experiences with cheap camping tents poles where they get wet/damped by the weather and begin fray quickly. Last- I don’t like the company name stamped so big in the carrying case and on the chair. I ordered the black chair and the block letters are white (it’s just ugly).Anyways that’s my 2 cents. Priced right? IDK. I like the carry bag a lot; maybe I can fit my camping bag in it. Overall I gave the chair a 3 star based on first impression. I have a 1,200mi mototrip and camping where this chair will be put to the test. We will see if it’s tough enough for this type of adventure.

Worth it.
Yes, you can find lighter chairs for so much more money. Yes, you can find more comfortable chairs for so much more money. But overall this can't be beat. I purchased this a year ago for a multi-day backpacking trip and really debated taking it. I decided to bring it along even though not having it would improve my overall carrying weight and room inside my pack. However at the end of a good days hike, just have a comfortable chair with back support was a small slice of luxury that made the weight/space totally worth it. Very pleased with this purchase.

Is fine but…
A friend of mine bought one similar so I decided to buy one.Found this one at a cheaper price. Putting it together was pretty easy. But I suggest that before you take it out of the bag and putting it together that you make a mental picture of how the legs are folded. I didn’t do that so tearing it back up and folding the legs and tucking them neatly took a few minutes and I still feel it was not stored neatly. Now the main downside is that this chair is only 21.2” wide and you kind of have to tuck in your arms close to your sides. If you don’t then the side of the chair gets uncomfortable on your arms.If yours a larger person then I don’t think this chair may be for you. I checked the specs of my friends chair and his is 23” wide which makes it a little more comfortable. I’ll see if I can deal with this before deciding to return it. Otherwise it may serve its purpose.UPDATE 9/29/21..Well just used it a couple of times and the chair turned out to be nice and my complaint about it being too narrow is not too bothersome. You just have to kind of tuck your elbows in. But still if you’re a little wider, this chair may not be for you.My real only gripe now is that the storage bag has ripped from one of the seams. It should be made a little bigger so that you don’t have to stretch it and struggle with it when putting the chair back in.

Fastway/AU Delivery Sucks
Other than the delivery not being delivered to correct address thanks #Fastways Australia. Packaging as per usual great, delivery time perfect, I now have both the big and small version which both be tested over the coming weeks and months, build quality looks good, the thickness of the aluminium seems to be better than others tried and the places where fabric is used to join seat to alloy seems a lot stronger in appearance. the orange looks great fabric looks and feels strong but time will tell after some use. extremely light with the extra footings for sand added it can be a challenge to fold up and put back in carry case, just requires some manipulation and its good to go. The only negative i really see is the carry case will probably perish before the chair especially the zipper it feels very cheap and susceptible to breakage. extremely light and would be great to put in pack on a day hike, or have a great seat in the car for those times when you always wish you brought your outdoor chairs with you.

Really light, compact, easy to assemble and incredibly sturdy.
I have used these camping on a couple of occasions and can't find fault, initial impression is it is a bit low but this soon passes. I now leave them in the car, instead of my other bulky chairs, and use them constantly.
