My daughter loves these personally I think their over priced for what they are but she plays with them a lot

I was a bit dubious about this at first but my daughter loves it. We did it at Grandma's house and used warm water and a little shampoo to wash. The new pet arrives in the box as a ball with eyes. You get no clues as to what the final creature is going to be until you get it wet. Then it unfolds and reveals ears, paws and tail. We have a kitty. Daughter loved the whole idea and experience (age 6). Would say you could definitely do it in the bathtub too! Downside: grandma doesn't have a hairdryer and child wobbled her lip when we suggested the dryer.Upside: kept child entertained for a good half hour. If it gets dirty it can definately go in the washer.

These have had lots of bad press about them recently but to be honest my daughter loves them & this was the second one she bought after Christmas as she thinks their lovely!Just make sure you wash them in the sink, use loads of shampoo (we used johnsons baby shampoo!) & rinse them under running water. Dry them with the hairdryer whilst brushing & then put them in the dryer to fully dry them! They'll be lovely after a good brush... Remember their called scruffy for a reason though!

Our daughter loved washing and brushing the pet. However, it is a very cheap and tatty looking teddy once done. She loves it though.

The 'fun' of this toy is the surprise part of which teddy you will get inside. Once you have discovered that, you are left with a rather bedraggled toy which definitely does not look like it cost £20! The teddy arrives all curled up and is supposed to be soaked in water to wake it up, then you use the (plastic) brush included to make it fluffy and out its collar on. The thing is, the brush is rubbish and reminded me of the ones you would use to brush Barbie doll type hair with which, let's be honest, never actually did much good! The toy still looks incredibly 'scruff' like and limp. I know they're selling the surprise toy element here but really, for the same money, you could buy a much nicer, softer, fluffier cuddly toy

Honestly, this is the best gift for our 6 year old. Bunny had a shower with a gentle shampoo and lovely smelling conditioner, then we blow dried and recommend using a good brush to brush hair straight during blow dry. The bunny looks SO cute now and our daughter loves it!!!!!!! Can’t wait to try the pink one for Christmas 🎄 fab!!!

The present came quickly,best price for the article.The only thing bad is that you do not know what you get until you wash and dry it because it is a surprise which is hard for young children to understand.I was asked for the blue cat and it is very hard for my grandson to understand that it might be bunny or a dog and not a cat. I just hope he is happy. Just need to see what else he wants.

This is brilliant - got the pink one for my daughter (who loves her Scruff A Luv!) and this Aqua version for my niece. You get a scruffy ball of matted fluff, collar, brush, bow, and adoption certificate. Gave it a long bath with soap and then used the hair dryer and hair brush to give it a good dry and turn it 'fluffy'. The animal you get is a mystery - cat, rabbit or dog - my niece got a dog and she loves it. Highly recommended and great for £19.99.

This was the best purchase for my 4 year old granddaughter.I was worried it wouldn't arrive in Australia in time for Christmas, but it did andshe was overjoyed when she opened her package. This is a fun toy for both boys and girls.

Dieses Plüschtier ist der absolute Müll und für den Preis eine Katastrophe. Ich bin selbst Schuld das ich soetwas für so einen Preis gekauft habe aber wir wissen ja alle wie es ist wenn diese runden glänzenden Kinderaugen einen bezirrzen. Diese Plüschtier ist kein Plüschtier. Es ist kleiner als abgebildet, das Fell eine Katastropheund egal wie oft man badet und kämmt es sieht aus wie ein 100jahre altes verrottetes Stofftier.Ich hätte es zurück geschickt aber meine Tochter hat die ersten Tage darauf bestanden es zu behalten. Nun liegt es ereits in der Ecke. ICh ärgere mich dermassen undmöchte es hiermit jedem anderen ersparen. Also nicht kaufen!!!!

Lo compré para una niña de 10 años. Lo más bonito y el único atractivo que yo le veo es la sorpresa del animal que te va a tocar.El pelo del animal es un poco cutre. Aunque la niña está encantada. Se ve que la campaña de marketing ha surtido efecto porque ella a pesar de todo le ha gustado.
