The Sims 2: Open for Business Expansion Pack - Mac

I don't play these video games but the person I bought it for loves it! Service was great and I received it in time to wrap it for Christmas, even though I ordered very late!

I haven't played it, the new Mac update doesn't allow me to, so it's useless. It really sucks it just took forever to get to me if it got to me quicker I would know how fun it was to play!

This EP adds more options to the Sims2 than the others so far (not including Pets, which came after OFB). Player can create almost any business they can imagine. There are many challenges and rewards when running a Sims businness, as well as humorous things that can go wrong. In University, once a player figures out how to get a student through college, there's only so much left to do. OFB, on the other hand, offers virtually endless possibilities. I plan to get Pets, but will continue to play OFB, maybe even incorporating pets into some businesses.

Came as described, but doesn't work on newer Macs (10.7+). Buyer beware!

Good game.Pretty good expansion. There aren't that many new objects, but there a lot of different business you can buy. There are harder and easier businesses to run so it can be a little challenging figuring out how to run some businesses at first. When playing on a business lot there are many new options and actions you can perform.

I bought this after christmas for myself (I am a college student) and my sisters (twin 11-year-old girls) immediately fell in love with it. The difference in the amount of care that cats and dogs need is a good feature, because people who are less experience with the game (like my sisters) can have cat, while people like me, who are more experianced, can get a dog which requires more care. The addition of pets like the womrat are also great, especially since you can now name them which we were unable to do in the original sims. The ability to customize a dog or cat's features is an awesome idea and it makes the game much more interesting. There aren't too many new objects but the ones they added are still good. Overall it's a great expansion pack and I'm really glad that I got it because as a person who has been playing sims for nine years, it puts a little spice back into a game which has become way too easy for me, but is still easy enough for younger players.

Now your Sims can run their own business. The Sims 2 open for business is a great expansion pack for the Sims 2 game. It adds new objects and interactions to the game that were not their previously. The people at Aspyr did an excellent job of converting it over for the Macintosh system. If you would like to try your hand at owning and running a business in the Sims 2 universe, then this is a great expansion pack to consider.If you have the opportunity, get all the expansion packs you can. There is lots of custom fan made content that is created out on the internet and some of that content is expansion pack specific. As long as Aspyr keeps doing a great job of bring games to the Macintosh system, I'll keep buying.
