Good For Good Sleep--And I Have Tips On Some Commonly-Reported Challenges With It!
DOES IT WORK? IS IT COMFORTABLE?:I purchased this pillow in my first trimester (around the 9-10 week mark, I believe) and it didn't seem to provide much benefit, at first, which left me wondering what others saw in this pillow; it didn't seem to increase my comfort level at all. It *did*, however, help me to stay on my side while I slept (I am a die-hard stomach sleeper, by nature, so side-sleeping was tough to get used to for awhile.)By about 18 or 19 weeks pregnant, this pillow became ESSENTIAL for good sleep! For some reason, I have a harder time sleeping on my left side than my right side, despite the blood flow benefits of left-side sleeping. This pillow helps with that; I keep the open side on my left so that when I do sleep that way, I just pull the bottom curve up between my thighs and it is more comfortable that way when I'm laying on that side for some reason.BED-HOGGING PILLOW?:My husband (whose account this is) also likes to cuddle up to the pillow (I keep the closed side between us) like a body pillow, which is nice. Because I keep the open side on my edge of the bed, it means the pillow can be scooched over toward my side a bit and the top and bottom curves can hang over the edge of the bed an inch or two, which I think lessens the bed-hogging that some reviewers have noted. (This is a big pillow, and it needs to be big to be so comfortable!) It *is* possible to stay within the confines of 'your side' of a queen size bed, but just barely. But sometimes it just takes a bit of creativity or compromise if your partner takes issue with the big pillow in the bed.WHAT SIZE PERSON WOULD THIS BEST ACCOMMODATE?:I am 5'2". I feel like this pillow would be good for short people (like me) to medium-sized people (I would guess about 5'7"-5'8"). Beyond that, it's hard to say. Some of it really just depends where you need support, how long your torso is, etc...because everyone is shaped differently!ADDRESSING THE CONCERNS ABOUT REPLACING THE COVER:Lastly, a bit of advice on washing and replacing the cover. A number of people have cited frustrations with replacing covers on c-shaped pillows like this one, and I have to say that mine wasn't that hard to replace at all! But I used others' frustrated reviews to determine what to do. First, WASH AND DRY YOUR PILLOW COVER ON LOW TO MEDIUM-LOW TEMPERATURE. (I used medium-low for the dryer setting.) Then, when you go to put the cover back on your pillow, bend your pillow such that the curves are closer to each other and put the curves in first (let the back part stick out a bit)--don't just go from top to bottom of the pillow--and put each curve in the cover a little like you would put a sock on a kid (bunch up the cover, stick the 'toe' of the curve in first, hold onto the 'toe', and roll the bunched-up fabric down around it).TIP: To me, there appears to be a definite top and bottom curve. The 'bottom' curve (the part the tag is on) of the C seems to be flatter, so if you confuse the up from down, you may find it harder to put the cover on. On mine, the 'bottom' part of the cover and the bottom part of the pillow both have tags, so that helps me orient the cover for putting it back on.I hope this helps. I definitely recommend this pillow and I hope it brings you a great deal more comfort!UPDATE: I'm at at about 23 weeks in my pregnancy and I'm experiencing some back pain when waking up. Im currently suspecting it is because the pillow makes it hard for me to stretch my legs out. I'm thinking of trying a u-shaped pillow to set if that resolves the issue.

A must for all side sleepers
A must for all side sleepers. This made sleeping on my side so much easier and more comfortable as it gives support to my back (as if i were lying on my side on a sofa) but also is a pillow for my head and i can put my arm under the pillow without having my arm feel squished. It provides support between the knees and is comfortable whether i face left or right while the pillow stays facing one direction.I tried using many pillows for my sides, between my knees and even bought a wedge pillow before i finally gave in and bought this one but this definitely makes sleeping much easier on my side.I have removed the pillowcase and washed the pillowcase multiple times and the pillowcase and zipper has lasted without an issue so far. Also its not difficult to put the pillowcase back - its a bit like putting socks on a child (but a child with huge feet).Cotton feels nice and cool to sleep against vs microfiber and doesn't lint from washing/drying. I havent had issues with fabric or stitching fraying as the cotton material has held together well.I haven't tried the other shapes of pregnancy pillows but this one works great. I can stretch it out if i want it to be a bit longer or curl it up if i need it to be a bit shorter so i like the c-shape of this product.

Better than expected, but exactly what I was hoping for
I was pleasantly surprised with this pillow, the price was cheaper than most on here so I assumed it was going to be a cheap pillow. I already bought another pillow on here that was the same style just made by a different company and it was garbage, it cost double what this one cost and offered no support whatsoever. The cover on the other one was microfiber which made it get hot and was hard to keep clean. This pillow is already so much better than the other one. I felt cool all night, never got sweaty, and didn't toss and turn all night. I'm glad I decided to throw out the flat old one I bought and went with this one because this one is so much better. This pillow comes in a vacuum sealed bag so when you open it be careful not to cut the pillow, only cut the plastic. Also you need to give it a few hours to expand fully (I gave mine 6 hours and that was all it needed) this pillow is firm and supportive. The other pillow I bought felt like a blanket between my legs and under my back. This pillow actually feels like a pillow and I woke up not sore at all, I'm heading into my 3rd trimester and rather than getting more uncomfortable I'm getting better sleep than I've had my whole pregnancy because of this pillow.

It actually really helps
Honestly I don’t know how I would have gotten through pregnancy without this item. Its fluffy and super supportive of my entire body. I’m about 5’3 and with that being said the pillow completely wraps all around my body and under my belly to support it. This pregnancy has been rough with a lot of pains especially when i try to lay down and This pillow helps support my stomach, back, legs, and of course my head just perfectly to ease A LOT of discomfort. At about 18 weeks people suggested i get a pregnancy pillow and I hesitated because this was my first time and I didn’t think I’d need it. I hit about 23 weeks and was literally so desperate just dying trying to find some way, any way to help me sleep and have relief and ended up with this pillow. I absolutely do not regret this pillow at all. Even though I’m not planning on having more kids and being pregnant again. This pillow still functions after pregnancy for things like support for your baby while breastfeeding or even just wrapping around you and your legs as a leg prop up while sitting on your bed.
