When I initially purchased this product, I didn't realize that I actually needed the 0.5mm needles for my face (mainly cheeks). I use this to assist and beard growth and derma rollers work very well, just don't over do it. I am reviewing this 1.0mm one now because now that I have more of a beard, the 0.5mm is useless for bearded areas. The 1.0mm is awesome for getting my rolling in without having to go clean-shaven. With the 1.0mm, I would only recommend using it on bearded areas (or any existing hair really), and keep off of your forehead (unless you use very light pressure), and definitely keep it away from your eye regions. These needles are way too big to be around the thin skin around your eyes.
