Absolutely lovley book, came in mint condition and its just beautiful. My partner is going to love it for his Christmas.

Bought as a gift. Quality of the artwork is top tier and looks very aesthetic being in Japanese. Is a good way to learn the language!

A great book for fans of the series; although there is little in the way of text to need translated, so non-Japanese readers can still enjoy this.

We are born of the blood. Made men by the blood. Undone by the blood. Our eyes are yet to open. Fear the old blood.Let me give you a little context for my review. I am a huge fan of FromSoftware, I've been playing their games since Demon's Souls and have collected both Dark Souls Design Works (for games I & II) as well as the Art of the Trilogy which came with the Collector's Edition of Dark Souls III. I also own both guides for Bloodborne, and as soon as I heard an Artbook had released I ordered a copy for myself.Allthough my expectations were very high, the book has its faults. Firstly, unlike all of the previous books of the series, this one is paperback, when it could have easily been a hardcover due to its width.Secondly I wish they introduced more art for key characters in the game, like Cleric Beast, Vicar Amelia, etc (mainly bosses but also some of the other more iconic creatures in the game). Characters such as Ebrietas and Amygdala got 3 pages each, which is what I expected every boss to be entitled to, because this didn't happen some of the areas felt a bit rushed compared to others, or at least to have been payed less attention when designing the book.I also wish they had enlarged some of the material on the book, some of these pages have really small art that when enlarged would allow us a better look at the craftmanship of the designs. I should also point out that while the book comes with both Japanese and English captions, the ones in English are in red while the Japanese are in white. Because the book is very dark and most of the text is sitting on a black background, the text can hard to make out sometimes.Overall this is a great collectible for fans of the series, specially for fans of the game allbeit the book could have used some polish which ended up feeling like it was rushly released to capitalize on the game's popularity. I still recommend it because it contains great art and very unique designs inspired by the written work of H.P. Lovecraft. Even if you've never played the game, this book is a welcome adittion to any artist's library.

Soy un gran fan de Bloodborne, y este libro lo estuve buscando durante mucho tiempo, sobre todo que estuviera a un buen precio, esta es la versión japonesa, el estilo del libro es diferente al de muchos otros, me gusto pero no entra en mi top de libros de arte, omiten muchas cosas del juegos, llámese enemigos, bosses, NPC y entorno, creo que es muy buen articulo de colección pero como complemento si deja que desear, aun así, si eres fan de Bloodborne si te lo recomiendo.

Quite dark (the brightness) and that's probably on purpose. It's a bit sad that it's not even a hardcover book, but very pretty nonetheless.
