Cocktail Muddler - Set Up Cocktails With Ease Using The Ifeeltipsy Muddler

The media could not be loaded.  I've used a dozen muddlers. This is the worst one. These 5 star reviews really misled me into buying this. It is too short to muddle in a standard Boston shaker, unless you want to hold it by the tips of your fingers...and good luck mashing up mint leaves for your mojito that way (or crushing limes!). If you use a home shaker (with a built in strainer and cap, shown in the video) - it is still too short, and even more impossible to use. There's no way I could smash anything up, as I did daily at work. This is a standard sized shaker, not an extra large one. You could potentially muddle in a pint glass, but it seems like this would either (a) scratch the glass or (b) still be too short. I don't know who muddles in a rocks glass, but that is what one of the pics shows above (and how are you going to shake your drink inside of a rocks glass?)Also, liquid gets inside the black plastic and randomly comes out in spurts if you shake the muddler. Who knows what it is & what bacteria it is harboring. There's no way to dry it or get all the water out. This is unsanitary and not acceptable for serving. And no, alcohol doesn't "kill everything" unless it's 70% rubbing alcohol...and even that level still leaves plenty of things behind.I just looked through all the glowing 5 star reviews on this page & they all have only 5 star reviews, and many of them review the exact same products (e.g., Shark Skimmer Brand Pool Skimmer Net - Spa and Pool Net Model Number: 001). Not to mention, they all sound like cheesy advertisements. Now, what on earth is the chance that people would buy a muddler and a random pool net? Or, what is the chance both companies paid for these positive reviews (and these are just shill accounts)? Well, Amazon removed them since my review was posted...so I think that tells you something.

Very well made and the business end of the muddler is perfectly suited to getting the most flavor from the item being "squished".

This is a great little muddler... exactly what I was looking for and easy to clean. I made some delicious mojitos when my mom was visiting and even she said how easy it was to make them fresh. Can't wait until the warmer weather comes back so I can grow some more mint. :)

This is such a good quality gift! I paired it with glasses I bought and created a present with it. The person I gfted it to was so please. IT's really a pretty piece and sturdy.
