I find it very helpful to sketch out the architecture of a project, be it software or hardware, before getting on to the implementation. It's a sanity check to ensure I have a good grasp of everything that's involved and that my mental map makes as much sense when articulated as it does in my head. At the same time, I rarely need to retain these sketches beyond the initial phase of the project. As such, an erasable notebook would seem to be optimal for my use case.This notebook works. Pilot pens are not my favourite, and their erasable line certainly isn't. The feel of writing with them on this "paper" is different from regular paper and takes a bit of getting used to. However, it isn't horrible or particularly distracting once you get into the swing of things and I say this as someone who writes with fountain pens for pleasure, so I'm certainly particular about writing feel. Your mileage may vary obviously.The ink stays on the page and doesn't smudge excessively, although it does require some care when writing. It then wipes away easily and completely with the use of the included towel. The key is not to leave writing indentations behind by pressing too hard when writing as a consequence of the unfamiliar writing feel - those won't go away obviously. See the before/after photos for how well the writing comes off.I did try some of my favourite pens, like a Uniball Vision, but the results weren't good - most of the ink did come off, but enough was left behind that using something other than the recommended/included Pilot appears impractical. I'm OK with that limitation since it makes for a simpler, cheaper and more reliably working product - I simply don't want to microwave my notebook to enable me to use a wider variety of inks/pens.

I love this notebook! I am a college student that takes a lot of notes, but I go through paper like crazy for every class. I have also been trying to be more eco friendly as well. So I decided to try this out and it has worked our great for me! However, the yellow color is more of an ochre color and the notebook is smaller than I expected (I don't know if it said how big it is in the product description). The ink erases with the back of the pen and it has also worked with a wet cloth. I have yet to try it with heat. An important point that the instructions bring up is to let the ink sit for a few seconds to keep it from smudging. I have forgotten this a few times so that was unforunte for those days of class. But I am glad that this notebook is less expensive compared to the other ones I looked at on here as well. Anyway I recommend this especially for doodling, short notes and casual everyday use.

Pages stick together as though they have melted together, I have never had it around heat so it's sort of baffling. Totally waste of money, one page stuck to my desk without heat or liquid. Not actually a smart notebook, and the pen doesn't erase entirely either. Terrible product.

Very frustrating to use due to poor quality of the spiral binder which does not allow the pages to turn freely. This is an especially a problem after wiping down pages, the pages stick together which makes it even harder to turn the pages. The original Rocketbook spiral binding is much smoother, was looking for a cheaper alternative this is not a good one.

I'm in high school and this is one of my best school supply purchases I've ever made! I like to make lists and used so much paper and lost the lists in the middle of my notebooks. This saves so much paper, time, and it's the perfect size (I bought the biggest one). I bought the yellow color, which isn't as bright as the stock picture. It's more of a honey orange-yellow. Honestly though, I prefer it not as bright. I use it for notes too! The pen glides across it effortlessly. The only thing is, I wish you could select the sheets you want (notebook, dot grid, blank, or variety) because I am only really using the notebook pages and feel I might fill them up quickly.Edit (Changed to 3 stars): Since I bought this 3 months ago, I've noticed the binder is very flimsy and hard to unclip, I tried rearranging the pages but it's not worth the hassle to me. Two of the clips on the binder ended up breaking too (in the middle of use, not unclipping it again), which isn't a huge deal to me since there's so many of them, but it does make me question how long it'll hold up. I attached a picture comparing a normal binder clip to one of the broken ones above it. At this rate if these keep breaking, I'm going to have to purchase a new one next year which totally defeats the point of the product.

The claims by the seller seem a bit grandiose, but the product does exactly what they claim. I recommend buying this product. I like it soooooo much, I bought a second one. (Oh, wait, the motivation for buying the second one is that I can't find the first one. I think my cat took it off to his lair.) Well, yes, if I didn't love the first one, I would have purchased a different product to replace the one I lost.Darn cat...

I liked the product, although some sheets were glued together and when I tried to separate them they peeled off a little. I I splashed with water just to test its water proof and it was good but make sure to completly dry off each page because otherwise it leaves watermarks on the pages. I use it to do my math HW problems and then take pictures and summit online. I really like that feature. I prefer to wipe out with wet clothe better. I hope this review helps, I'm not very good at rating stuff.

This techy notebook and erasable pen is really handy. I use mine for drawing layouts for yard projects, lists, notes...etc...and wash or erase it and start again. Very heavy duty plastic but not bulky. Saves paper and is much more fun than any paper notebook.
