Well made, but needs better product description.
The product is truly well made. The mold I received has eight holes for candles. The candle size is about 3/4 inch by six inches. I purchased this mold specifically for beeswax, but didn't read the description well enough as I thought this mold made 8 inch candles. My bad, seems I need glasses. The candles made from this will likely go as gifts.I made beeswax candles and after letting it cool for a few hours, burned one. It lasted for an hour and a half. Unfortunately it dripped quite a bit, I used 2/0 cotton wick, so I need to experiment with wick sizes to see if that stops the dripping.I also dipped a couple in beeswax after taking them from the molds to smooth out the surface imperfections and such as beeswax is rather hard to get a smooth pour because it hardens so quickly. The dipping added nearly a quarter inch to the candle diameter and added another 15 minutes to the burn time. There was no dripping on the dipped candles. The mold comes with a strap. Use it. The first time I used the mold, the candles came out perfectly, no lines or such. The second and third time, there were lines in the candles where the mold closes. Possibly because the mold was heating up from repeated use. Scraping and dipping the candles will easily hide any imperfections. Wait till the mold is room temperature to use it again. The hotter the mold gets from each batch, the worse the candles looked, weirdly enough. The mold also comes with some rather cheap plastic wick holders. I used them for three batches and then two of them broke. I'm using the old fashioned metal bobby pin now.Would I purchase this again? No. Only because I have no use for six inch candles. If this came in a taller size, I'd be all over it due to ease of using a silicon mold.

Garbage
Tried it. It leaked. No returns if it has been used. It’s in the landfill. Ruining the climate. lol

Would be the best candle molds in all existence...if they were a little easier to wick.
I absolutely LOVE this mold and found it incredibly easy to use once I figured out a method to get it wicked. I love that it fully splits apart because it makes it so easy to "spot clean" with a heat gun and a paper towel in between batches, and it makes it brilliantly easy to fully clean with hot water and dish soap when finished using. Because it fully splits, it is easy to see when it has completely dried, and it is easy to inspect to ensure there is no residual wax.As promised, the candles remove ridiculously easy. It almost feels like I'm cheating, actually. I did experience some light flashing in my first couple batches, but it was mostly around the candle tips. I think part of that issue was with my initial wicking technique, and part of it was trying to ease the female end onto the male end all at once. When I took to "rolling it on", from tip to pour end, I seemed to get less flashing. Either I got better at securing a good fit, or the roll eliminated tiny air space between the joins. When I've used silicone molds in the past, I've used a wicking needle to "thread" the molds, and I've cut the wick with long tails so that the next batch would self-wick. Using a wicking needle makes wicking those molds ridiculously easy...and if you leave the spool or a very long tail, you only have to wick the mold once for each candlemaking session (or until the spool runs out). With this mold, you have to wick for each batch, and it's a bit tricky to poke the wick into the cut slit. Because it is a slit, it's also really easy to have the wick roll off center. Struggling with the wick can also cause the end to fray a bit, and there's really no wiggle room to trim away the frayed bit because only about 1/2 inch of wick will fit into the wick slit. That being said, the ease of cleaning and candle removal is worth the trade off in wicking struggles to me. I think it would be a perfect system if they allowed for threaded wicking...but that's just me.This particular candle mold makes standard "household tapers", which aren't exactly standard in household use anymore. They are 6 inches long and 3/4-inch in diameter. Most taper candle holder have a 7/8-inch diameter socket, so you'll need to anchor these candles in the holder with some melted wax, taper tacky, or candle adhesive. I'd love for Mighty Molds to make a 7/8-inch diameter taper mold at some point in the future.UPDATE (1/8/19): Mighty Molds has changed the way they wick their molds! They now use a threaded system. I've added a picture from their Facebook site that shows this, and I've changed my initial 4-star review to a 5-star one. They're certainly the best molds in existence now!

They don't return emails! Communication sucks!!
Mine broke. Since its a prototype you don't get any help on how to fix it yourself. I spent alot of money on your product and to just be ignored is bs. I won't buy or recommend your product to anyone. I have had several people look at it and its junk. Broken. Leaks! Thanks for the piece of silicone that sits in a drawer.
