Material Type:2500 LB 3/4" Pull Tape | Size:500 FT Reel Made of 100% polyester at our local factory in Pennsylvania. You are buying quality pull tape direct from the manufacturer. You are cutting out the middle man and reducing costs in the process. This is similar to Mule Tape or Bull Line, but now you're buying direct from a manufacturer! Mule Tape is made to tensile specification for pulling purposes; width is approximate.

Good for hammock camping.
I do a lot of hammock-camping and am always looking for ways to lighten the load. Mule tape as part of the suspension system is light and very easy to use. Just tie a Becket Hitch to the end of your hammock. (A Becket Hitch is basically a sheet bend with a slip knot.) The 1/2" Mule Tape had no trouble supporting my full weight. You will still have to use some kind of wider tree-hugger with your suspension - the 1/2" tape alone would put too much stress on the bark.I do have some concerns about fraying. The suspension system held up to a hard week's camping with no breaks but there are a few spots where the material seems a little looser than it was. I will want a year or two of wear before making a firm recommendation. (On the other hand, for the money I could replace the tape every single camping trip and still take years to use up this 3000' roll.)Update: A year later and still using the same straps on every campout, I have fewer concerns about fraying. They have been through some very hard use in all weather conditions and are holding up well.

This worked for my application. I pulled 3 legs of 400 MCM through 300' of 3" PVC conduit with one sweep elbow and it did not break while using a winch.

Features measurements printed on the tape
This is the real stuff. I'm not using it for pulling wire (I believe that is its purpose) but am using it in place of rope or strapping for all kinds of uses. Some people replace strapping in ratcheting straps with this "mule tape." I just use trucker hitches. This is so much better than rope for most any usage as any normal knot that has been under extreme tension can be untied without tools, as this stuff is slippery. Bowline, square, clove hitch...all of them easy to undo. A feature not mentioned is that this particular brand has a measurement number every foot. Yes, the entire roll, so one can cut off exactly how much they need. Incredibly useful.

Best value
Have you seen the price of rope in hardware and big box stores? This stuff is great and with very high strength compared to ropes of the same price. You will want to heat seal the ends or buy the kind with cross stitching every 10cm. This stuff is what the world calls "webbing". The electrical industry calls it pull tape and they use it to pull cables through pipes. The landscapers call it Mule Tape and use it to tie branches or pull shrubs from the ground to lift. Whatever you call it, a 500' or 1000' spool of the 3/4 or 1/2 inch will handle all your roping needs. That may seem like a lot, but recall all those times whatever you have turns out too short. This also takes knots just fine, like a clove hitch and all that. I'm quite pleased with the 3/4 and plan to buy a 1/2 inch spool.

Super strong, super easy to cut/tie/untie
Super strong, super easy to cut/tie/untie, super light, doesn't come untied on its own if you use appropriate knots. Wish more places would sell this stuff locally for a reasonable price but with a 1000' roll, I can use it to tie things to my car, tie a canopy over my trailer when camping, make custom lashings for various equipment that can be stuffed into a ziplock bag. I don't really use my ratchet straps anymore, this is better in almost every way.

Great product direct from the manufacture.
This is the best project out there for what it is intended, pulling wire and cable. We use this for our long (500') underground conduits and ductbanks for pulling our larger ropes. It is marked with footages to give us exact conduits lengths which saves on wire purchases. We also use this direct for pulling fiber optic cables. The used tape then gets used for tying down hay bales to boats.
