Osso Good Chicken Bone Broth, 6 - 16 Ounce Pouches, High in Protein & Collagen, Ships Frozen, Pack of 6

These 16 ounce size bags come VERY frozen and that is a very good thing, having a lot of care in packing and safety. The delivery was delayed not by fault of OSSO, but the bags were still completely frozen even though they went over an unexpected weekend delay! WOW!The variety selection is a good way to sample the three varieties. I get these individual bags ready to go by melting the inside of one bag slightly under running hot water. That makes it easy to drop the contents into my crockpot-like Kitchen Aide appliance. I set the thermostat to simmer, and voila! I come back in about ten to fifteen minutes and I pour the bone broth right into a 16 ounce cup! EASY bone broth. Trusted to be what it says it is too, from what I have read about the company's quality assurances.I once ordered a MUCH more expensive frozen concoction bone broth from California. NO GELATIN at all and company said it was definitely in there anyway. REALLY? So how come when chilled there was NO thickness to their broth at all? THIS is the REAL stuff. REAL organic ingredients. And this broth does NOT taste "flat" as they put some vegetables into the broth to help flavor it. I use these as sipping broths (OK, I'm NOT as good doing this in the summertime!) OR into soups. I make at least one pot of soup weekly, These are expensive as a backdrop broth for soups, but I also add IMAGINE organic broths or Whole Foods organic broths. But I know the extra minerals and goodness are in the soups just like the "old days" when people KNEW to use more parts of an animal for the mineral worth as wel as for deeper, rich flavor.Enjoy. Join in for the taste, alone, but get the better nails, better joints and better hair and bones! Find ANYTHING this nourishing at twice the price or your doing the work (gather all THOSE ingredients? Methinks not!) necessary to produce a product like this!

I’ve had Osson Good broth when they first launched and it’s one if the best tasting bone broths on the market. Unfortunately as they’ve grown, the pouches have shrunk to only 16oz which used to be 22oz and it’s now become too expensive. I bought the 6 pack to save a few cents on the product but was very disappointed when the shipment arrived with half the pouches fully defrosted. If they’re still partially frozen, it’s ok to refreeze, but once thawed, you have to use them up. I was very enthusiastic about this company and their product when they first started, but I won’t be buying it anymore for the above reasons.

First off I have to say I love the taste of these! But that said, I am tired of wasting money. My first shipment was delayed, so my broth arrived partially thawed. I went ahead and ordered a second pack and so far, I have found out the hard way that at least two pouches had holes in them. Since they are frozen, it is recommended to let them thaw in warm water. So when I have done that on two occasions now I come back to find half my broth has leaked out into the bowl of water I was thawing them in. At $8/ea., it’s too expensive to keep wasting them so I don’t think I will be buying them again...

I was buying from this company previously due to a recommendation from a friend and was super happy to find they now sell this pack set on Amazon :) I use it to help with medical issues and this Signature flavor is my favorite of all the ones I’ve tried. They have some really yummy Health ones on their normal website that are really tasty too. Will be buying again often, hopefully they’ll do a Health pack one in the future on Amazon too :)

I love this product. I only drink about 1/2 cup a day. I just purchased the vegetable soups as well so I have added 1/2 cup of this also because kids started school and this is when sickness becomes prominent in the community. I decided to step it up a notch because I do not want to be sick this year.I am a nurse studying to be a nurse practitioner and I also tell my patients about this bone broth. Tasty also.

very much like this product. I have ordered directly from the company, but you have to order so much to get free shipping. with amazon, I can just order 6 at a time and not overwhelm my freezer. This broth has no added salt so I recommend adding a big pinch while heating. I have occasionally had a bag leak while defrosting so I now put the pouch inside a ziplock to defrost in the fridge.

I've tried a couple different brands of bone broths and this one is the best by far. I love bone broth for the nutritional benefits - it really helps reduce bloat and indigestion - so it was important to me that Osso broth comes frozen and isn't shelf stable. I can really tell a difference in the taste and quality. Signature was my favorite flavor, but both chicken and beef were great too. Highly recommend these broths!

The Osso Good Bone Broth arrived frozen and promptly. I couldn't believe how much flavor it had without any added salt! They were very thick and gelatinous, the sign of a high quality bone broth. Just like my grandma used to make, only better. When Grandma isn't around, I'll be sure to have this on hand. I've already experienced thicker nails and improved digestion. I highly recommend!
