Fed Up
I was thrilled with this sofa initially , and was using it both as a bed and seating place. It was very comfortable and solid for two months, and now it's falling apart. First there was a small rip and then there was a puncture. No problem. Now it seems like every day I am waking up to find it deflated, having to find a new hole, patching it up, and waiting four hours until I can inflate it up again. I am 120 lbs and I'm not jumping on the thing. Today I leaned on my elbow and it went right through the sofa. I'm completely out of glue and out of patience.

So far so good
I have been using this product for the past 10 days now. So far I have filled air only once and the couch seems to be holding air well. Its deflated around 20% but still usable. For $60, I would say this is a good product. When folded up, it is very small and portable. Additional patch up strips ship with the product. The pump is external and makes high noise while filling in air. The pump is not battery operated. So this is not a real portable solution like for camping and all. The sofa bed itself is very good and comfortable and all 5 positions work well. There are 3 chambers and you can inflate/deflate the chambers as u like.It does not give a cheap look to your living room/bedroom. All in all a quality product. Of all the similar products which I did extensive research on, this one looked good and it still does after 10 days of use.

Genioius Concept, Failed Execution
FOR MY SHORT ATTENTION SPAN BUDDIES OUT THERE: DON'T BUY THIS!FOR THOSE OF YOU WILLING TO READ WHY, CONTINUE: I bought into this thing because it was so versatile. When I got it I was quite excited. I used the bed portion only for about a month (the length of the return policy unfortunately). It was like sleeping on a cloud. The double high mattress was extremely comfortable and the bed itself was pretty short, leaving more walking room. NOTE TO TALL PEOPLE - This size is not for you (I'm 5'5" and it fit me like a glove). One day I decided to deploy the sofa feature. Not bad. Very claustrophobic, but comfortable. That freed up a lot of space in my room, but it isn't something you can just pump up and deflate. It took at least ten minutes to deflate the sofa portion. So I went back to sleep on it's traditional form, the next morning I woke up on the floor in a blanket of plastic. I've done everything but dip it into a swimming pool to find the leak, but I can't locate it. On top of that, the manufacturer neglected to send the pump adapters which doesn't really matter because the pump is ridiculously ineffective, especially considering that you have to plug it in. So I used a different battery-powered pump from the start which worked much faster anyway. Just fork out the extra cash and get an Aero Bed to start with, I learned the hard way and ended up buying both.

Works well - but not a good permanent couch
I bought this couch for my dorm room, since it was my first semester having a single room. This couch was great for having guests or for just sitting and watching some TV. If you don't use blankets on the couch, it can become uncomfortable after a while. Made of sturdy material, the couch inflates quickly (by use of the pump, which is rather loud and AC powered). It does make rubbery noises when you sit on it - to remedy this, I put a blanket between the bottom and middle chamber, and one also covering the top and middle chamber. I used this product for several months, but as it got older it began to lose air at a faster pace, and holes ARE going to happen, you just need to find them and patch them. To do this, you need to spray water all over the couch, and look in the little circle-shaped indentations - they happen there the most. Also, as the couch becomes older, it will begin to lose its integrity and some of the chambers will "puff up" and cause abnormal bumps on the seat part of the middle chamber. This means it's probably time for a new one. I would say for the price, the pros and cons weigh out about right. It can fit 2 people, and the bed, although uncomfortable for some, is better than sleeping on the floor. My couch is not retaining air well anymore, but I will buy a new one to hopefully last for another semester. I would recommend this product to anyone who can't afford the price, permanency, or bulk of a futon - ideal for campus-residing college students. Just know that these couches will not last forever, 6 months or so of moderate use.

A for Effort
First, whoever thought of the idea of an INFLATABLE SOFA gets major kudos from me. Absolute genius.POSITIVES:+Versatile piece that works as as a sofa or mattress+Blows up quickly (and comes with pump!)+Blow-up furniture. Come on now, that's great!NEGATIVES:+Material makes a horrible squeaking sound when you sit/lay on it+Bottom piece of couch deflates rapidly when used for sitting (<1 day of use)+Couch "caves in" to middle when sitting+VERY tight for 2 people to sitOverall, better as a couch than mattress, but loses air pretty quickly and is obnoxiously loud unless covered in material. It's a blow-up couch... what did you expect?
