Given how hard it supposedly is to make at home (I've never bothered to try) do you really need to think about it? Really changes the mouth feel of Sazeracs and Old fashioneds.

This gum syrup makes every drink better!
I love the flavor and silky quality that this gum syrup adds to cocktails. Sure it's a fairly obscure ingredient but it doesn't have to be that way! I use it in place of simple syrup in cocktails ranging from margaritas to old fashioneds and it is delicious in everyone.

Overall a decent product, especially if you want to keep gomme syrup on hand for mixed drinks.Pros:- good taste and viscosity- glass bottle arrived in perfect condition, tightly wrapped in layers of bubble wrapCons:- no expiry or manufacturing date printed on the bottle (only a lot number), which isn't very helpful- has lemon juice as an ingredient, so this syrup probably isn't suitable for adding to iced coffee
