I been told this is a great substitute for peanut butter. It tastes almost like peanut butter, and it is super on bread with jam.

This is a great allergy-friendly option! I use it with jelly sandwiches and swap it out with peanut butter to make cookies and other treats that might otherwise be made with peanut butter. It is easy to spread, no big separation of oil and product. In baking, it's perfect. On sandwiches, the flavor is a little different than other nut butters, but has a nice roasted flavor and eventually wins out. This is also a really high protein option. We use Wowbutter regularly in our home.

I've been eating this since I was young! I'm 29 now and still enjoy it. To me it's the best non peanut butter spread. The texture is truly the closest to PB then any of the others. "Atleast from what I remembered" but the consistency when spread on bread or whatever is the best. Also crunchy is the best. I wish it was sold in stores still, but Happy to be able to buy it still here.

This tastes, spreads and has mouth feel just like peanut butter. It is great for those with allergies that miss good ol PB&J or any other peanut butter taste. I have made Chicken Satay with it and you would never know it was not peanuts.

As a nut free house hold we have tried all nut free spreads and nothing compares to Wow Butter. From taste, texture, and spreadability its hands down the best option. Forget those “seed” based spreads that are more oil and mess than actual “butter” and not nearly as tasty. Wow get the gold star on all attributes for this house hold. A nice protein boost for our toast/bread. Worth a try.

If you can’t tolerate peanut butter , Wow butter is a Great, substitute, and very tasty.

This stuff is amazing! I’m guilty….I always read reviews, but never write them so this is my first one and long over-due because this product deserves it. If you, like me, have been desperately looking for a good peanut butter alternative – your search is over. I have always been a huge fan of peanut butter and grew up eating it, snacking on it... until I had a son that is severely allergic and landed in the hospital ER as a toddler due to the severity of his reaction. That was many years ago and since then I have been test-tasting many, many peanut butter substitutes, regardless of the cost. With that said, Wowbutter is hands-down the absolute best product out there! The flavor, the texture and consistency - honestly, you would never know the difference. I tried many other brands but there was always something missing - not sweet enough, not salty enough, an odd consistency, some were paste-like, some were strangely squishy. Some, I could hardly swallow and just tossed the entire jar in the garbage. Not so with Wowbutter! Of all the brands I’ve tried, none of them even comes close in my opinion. Just recently, I gave a jar of Wowbutter to the mother of one of my son’s friends. This little boy is extremely particular about his food and loves PB&J for lunch but wants to sit at my son's allergy table at school. My son came home from school so happy this week telling me his friend loves Wowbutter! Now if a picky 11-year-old boy can't tell the difference between Wowbutter and his usual peanut butter, that's telling you something! For this reason, I felt compelled to at least share my experience in a review here on Amazon. I hope this helps anyone who has been searching for the perfect peanut butter substitute. I know everything is a matter of taste, but take it from a former peanut butter addict – Wowbutter is delicious. (p.s. I used to love snacking on crunchy peanut butter, and the Wowbutter Crunchy is fantastic too!)

If you like non sweetened pb and can't eat pb, this is the brand is for you. It is expensive though,so buying the 6 pack is more economical. Con in 6 pack is that I have sometimes received slightly separated batches in which I've had to mix the oil and spread to get a smooth consistency.
