Nekoosa Synaps Digital SM 10-mil Synthetic Paper, 8-1/2 x 11 Inches, White, 50 Sheets (66035)

I've used a few brands of digital synthetics and Nekoosa Synaps runs very well in small laser printers.

Prints well and looks good coming out of a digital printer. Cuts fine, stick to the specs in regards to cut height, even that might be questionable. The reason received a 2 is due to extremely limited,almost inability to drill the material. While it can be drilled the fact that it is difficult causes heat and longer dwell times, thus negating manufacturers specifications.Tested a standard paper drill using teflon coated bit, that was lubed prior to drilling and the material melted very quickly. Now if you do one set of holes with success, then move to the next it will melt, the heat from the first drilling hasn't had time to dissipate from the drill, making drilling of this material something that should not be in the spec unless you are doing a single sheet at a time. Would expect better specs from the manufacturer in regards to this. Punching maybe an alternative or have the hole area perforated prior to printing.
