First and foremost, I didn't have any shipping details until the hat came to my city and was in transit. It was a fast delivery none the less. The hat came in a LIGHTER GRAY than what's portrayed in the picture. The hat FITS TIGHT AT FIRST! After a week of wearing it it fits pretty comfortably or I've gotten used to it. I have a larger head than most (L-XL in flexfit hat's fit comfortably on me however). I have to set the hat on my head and pull it all the way down to fit. Maybe it'll break in after a while and if it does I'll write another review. The hat leaves extra room at the top, even on my head, it is still a RELATIVELY TALL HAT.. Depending on how you like your hat's it could be a good look. Phenomenal stitching job, just be careful if your the kind of person who likes to mess with the brim. (IE flipping it up and down constantly etc) The BRIM IS REALLY FIRM. I wore the hat in a recent Nor'Easter storm without an umbrella and the rain was pretty constant at that point. No damage or flimsiness in the brim. However, everybody has a different head so the only thing to worry about is the color. Otherwise, IT IS WORTH IT FOR THE PRICE. If you don't like it, see what you can do to send it back.

Great hat overall. Material is nice and soft and well made to be thick to keep me warm here in cold Michigan winters. It's definitely got room for a larger head too, since I'm a 5'4" avg female, because it will sit real low on my neck and forehead. This fit is sort of con and pro for me. Another similar worn hat I own sits just at the bottom of my ear lobe, which is a fit I prefer in case I have ear rings in or wanna wear it all day even indoors. This brand new hat, however, is too deep in how if fits my head. Maybe when I wash it it'll shrink up some? My only other minor complaint is the bill seems to ride into the head if worn low on the forehead, which i don't often wear that way but noticed at work the other night in single digit temps. It sure does stay snug and warm though. I would buy another in black in a heartbeat!

I had no idea that there's a seam inside the beanie about an inch or so up from the bottom that DOES NOT STRETCH. It's not a comfy fit for people that get headaches from beanies easily. It feels you took a regular beanie visor and tied a string around it so it won't move. It doesn't look that good either. I didn't think it was the kind that wants to swallow your entire head and face, but this product was full of surprises. That aside, it arrived on time, wasn't made poorly, but the product description on the page is definitely lacking in detail. I would have returned it if there was something actually wrong with it other than what I mentioned. Maybe I'll find someone who actually likes it because it's just taking up space in my dresser.

Ok, I bought the black one and the gray one and for some reason the gray one looks and fits better than the black one. The gray one feels thicker and fits more comfortably than the black one. I don't think I would buy either hat again, even thought they fit and look the way they should, the style just looks cheap. Buy for function not for style.

This is the first beanie I've bought with a visor on it. I like it, but the fit is a little large on my head. I have to pull it down further on the back of my head so that it fits snugly. Not a huge issue to me. I am pleased with the product/quality.

This hat is 3 inches longer than the photos show. I didn't think any amount of washing would shrink the beanie to fit but I was wrong. Washed it one time in hot water and put it in the dryer on Max heat/time and it did the trick.

I wanted a winter cap with a visor because I do a lot of early morning winter walking in the dark and in a rural area. The visor allows me to attach a clip on LED light to better see patches of black ice and other hazards. This cap allows me to do this. Unfortunately, it is a little too thin to wear on the coldest winter days in Michigan, but is OK with temperatures above 20 degrees. It is one size fits all but is tight on my fat head. It will barely cover the ears with a stretch.

Great hat! Arrived when I was expecting it. No loose threads or stitching. I have a bigger than normal head so baseball style hats do not fit and look like a beanie hat on me so I never wore hats before this style of hat. Bought my first one at target but saw this one on Amazon and decided to buy it. Glad I did! I plan on buying more in different colors. The DECKY logo "tag" is not on the side of it like it looks in the picture, which is fine with me.
