If you’re reading this review, I can tell you’re here because of high heel pain. And I feel your pain (you see what I did there, haha 🙂...)As a travelling business woman who’s logged over 50,000 miles of flights year to date in economy class, it gets stressful! Cancelled flights... sitting at a terminal for hours on end... a wheel snapping off of a metric ton carry-on luggage just before a 2-stop flight... you get the picture. And because I have to be business presentable right after I get off the plane, I need my high heels on with every flight I take! No matter whether you’re at a party, a social gathering, or a business meeting pitching yada yada to other stuffy business people like me, you don’t want your high heels to be yet another stressor, and I absolutely get your pain - that was the complete same with me!! My time is limited and on a schedule, but even I had to allocate some amount of time to finding a solution to high heel pain, and that’s when Amazon showed me this solution that literally changed my life (and I’m not even kidding!): Chambellan metatarsal pads.A little while ago I got to test out these Chambellan metatarsal pads for the first time in Arkansas: the land of Walmart. It’s a surprisingly upscale and rich-esque area because Walmart is headquartered there, and I was there on business to help plan out a team building event for my sector of the company. During my planning, I found that things like prizes and the fun party-type supplies that I wanted could mainly only be found at Walmart. BUT, where I was at was a far walk from the nearest Walmart, and because my company didn’t want to pay for Ubers (ugh x2), I had to go on long walks to the nearest Walmart constantly. I lived in upstate New York for much of my life so the hot sun of what almost felt like Arizona was DREADFUL.Lots of water kept me from being like an ant under a microscope, and the ACs inside Walmart kept me from being like Spongebob without his water helmet in Sandy’s house (i.e a dry sponge). But, I only had my high heels while I was in Arkansas - I hadn’t thought to bring a pair of normal shoes! Whoops. Luckily they were low high heels but still. Thankfully I had these high heel pads that you’re looking at right now... I slapped these puppies on right before I set foot on egg-frying terrain (i.e the sidewalk). And let me tell you, THAT WAS THE BEST DECISION EVER! My feet stayed put inside my high heels with every step I took. The cushiony gel was like a comfy memory foam mattress for my constant journeys to Walmart. Maintaining a relaxing posture was so much easier because I didn’t need to constantly position the ball of my two feet in ways that didn’t hurt. My high heels ended up being almost as comfortable as my pink Nike walking shoes... and probably your comfiest pair of slippers too (okay okay, that was a slight overstatement but you get the point!).Ever since my ordeal in Arkansas, they just performed, performed, and performed to a T on every single one of my business trips.You have high heel pain. Are you INFURIATED by how painful your high heels are? Because I am, I would be in SO MUCH pain each and every time I went on my usual regimen of shopping with my favorite pair of heels on the weekend with some of my friends... that is, until I found this one secret: ball of foot cushions from Chambellan.Let me tell you the truth: I am the type of person who loves - LOVES! - soft cozy hoodies and oversized comfy t-shirts from my husband's drawer when I'm at home. Not the most beautiful or "girly" thing but it's comfortable! But when I go out, I wear the most beautiful things. I love wearing clothes that make me feel good and look good and even photo ready. But I trade beauty for comfort... and fake pockets.I never found a solution for fake pockets.But I found the equivalent of oversized plain white cozy hoodies for my high heels! Surprise: ball of foot cushions. Or metatarsal pads. Whatever you wanna call them.They're super comfortable and I can tell by its features. The pads are made out of a soft cushy silicone wrapped on the top with a fluffy fabric so they mold to the ball of my feet. There is peel off adhesive on the bottom of the pad so you can stick the pads inside your high heels, and they don't shift at all. And they're even a good deal because they came in a four pair pack, which is double the pads compared to the other brands you can find on Amazon!These are my favorite high heel pads and I will be buying more. This product contains 8 pieces, enough for 4 pairs of heels; two pairs of black, two tan. I've now placed them in 3 pairs of shoes and gave one to a friend. While I realize that these are fairly self-explanatory, I would have liked some direction on where to actually place the pads. On one pair of my heels, I placed them where the shoe had a built in lift...this caused my toes to rub painfully against the top of the shoe. On another pair, I placed them closer to the toe which became uncomfortable after a few hours. It takes a few tries to get them where you want them (AFTER walking in them...) which of course starts breaking down the adhesive on the back. I really want to love these, but I've yet to have that 'wow, these are amazing' feeling. My foot doesn't feel any more secure, or more comfortable. The concept is great but for me at least, no real change.

I’ve been going through high heel pain for a while at parties and gatherings and such and I thought that was what I had to deal with to wear high heels, so when I decided to try these I was a little skeptical just because of how I’ve never had any luck with having comfortable high heels. Low and behold, THEY WORK!! The extra padding it gives are a lifesaver because my back of the foot doesn’t shift around as much and cause discomfort, and they’re pretty breathable too. These are a small price to pay for comfortable high heels... I would definitely recommend these Chambellan ball of foot cushions and I would buy them again in a heart beat!

These are amazing!!!!! For a person that haven't been on heels for 4 yrs because I had 3 kids so I was a little out of the heel game until now! I bought these based on the great reviews, once received I was skeptical because they seemed to thin and I was like there is no way this is going to give me support.. well...they did! I put them on my pumps and wore them to a baby shower and all day I didn't feel my feet! Meaning I didn't go through the pain and suffering. I will have to buy more for all my other shoes.

So after a highly anticipated and delayed moms night out I decided to just wear some heels for the fun of it. If you don’t wear heels often(me) these are a must have. After baby and a little weight gain I used to love the idea of heels for special occasions but rarely made it out of the car and into the event without swapping into my flats. I think I can make if for hours now:) yay.They are a great price and love the sticky back to keep them from shifting while you walk.
