The book ha a wide range of simple recipes for sous vide cooking, but also includes helpful sections introducing the reader to sous vide cooking, and recommending some techniques and practices for how to get to make the most of the recipes if, like me, you're a total newbie to sous vide.

This was my first look at a sous vide cookbook, and I found this book to be very easy to follow. I appreciate the variety of recipes included, some of which I would not have thought to find in a sous vide cookbook.Nice touch with the recommendations for cooking, as well. This is very helpful for someone new to sous vide cooking.

Lots of good recipes

I like to see what the end product will look like. This cookbook didn't have that. Disappointed.

There are some interesting recipes and useful information. That said, I’m appalled at the poor editing. I’m not sure that I can trust the recipes based on the other errors. There are sections pasted into multiple recipe directions that say broil for 10-15 - seconds, minutes, hours?? No time specified. I can guess, but that’s why I wanted a cook book. Incorrect titles are repeated at the head of recipes where they don’t belong. There are also many obvious typos and word substitutions. Are the ingredients accurate? I don’t know? Am I going to experiment to find out? I don’t know.
