My favorite puzzles
I love these puzzles. I have been doing these puzzles for close to 50 years and will do them as long as I can. I love that I can order books of them; even though I've done the puzzles when they came out in the Sunday papers. That was years ago so it's like doing them as new.

A good, difficult selection of puzzles
These puzzles are among the hardest I have come across in the NYT Sunday puzzle series. They require, at least for me, more than Sunday to complete, and even then I often cannot quite finish them -- without peeking. They contain lots of pop culture clues, and I simply am not up on pop culture. The puzzles continue to be good -- I seldom have found a typo. So, if you are younger than I, and/or know about what is happening in the world of pop music and movies, you will probably not find these as hard as I do. I still enjoyed solving them. I would rather have them a bit too hard than a bit too easy.

Puzzles for the OCD crossword puzzler!
Definitely made for the New York Times Sunday puzzle addict! However, you have to like the theme approach that is the Times specialty. (Sometimes these are pretty far-fetched!) One negative of this book is the paper. Crossword books always seem to use grainy paper which is not ideal for writing on - at least with a ballpoint pen; the glossier pages of the magazine are better.

Good Puzzle Book
Okay, I admit it. I couldn't resist the picture on the cover of this crossword book, so I bought it. I do like the puzzles, though. They're challenging enough to be fun, but most are do-able. I wouldn't mind if the print was a little bigger though.

Still enjoying Sunday format.
Plenty of new clever puzzles. The book is smaller than the other compilations, but there are still over 100’s of clues per puzzle. Fits on a clipboard just right.

Some of my money was wasted because I did work some of the puzzles before ...
Many puzzles are repeated in other books. Found also same puzzles in NewYork Times "Soothing Sunday" crosswords. edited by Will Shortz. Some of my money was wasted because I did work some of the puzzles before I realized many were repeats. Don't know who copied who. Makes we want to just go to the bookstore so I can peruse before I buy.

Some duplicates
Some of the puzzles are the same one's in other compilation books, so kind of a bummer, but got to do some of them for the first time.

Love!
Bought for my mom to snuggle in her reading nook and do crosswords on lazy afternoons. Now I find myself picking it up at least once a week to complete a puzzle. Love!
