Prozac Free
While this book is quite insightful, it must be understood that all persons utilizing this book have their own set of needs psychologically and should get proper mental health care whenever possible while pursuing this type of intervention.

I'm doin' it!
Prozac Free, that is! I have been suffering from depression sinse I was a young teenager and attempting to use anti-depressants to treat the problem for the past 12 months, to no avail. Then I read "Prozac Free" and found that I really identified with some of the contributers' stories, so I sought out homeopathic treatment and havn't looked back since. That was 3 months ago now. I haven't had 90 good days in a row in over 15 years!"Prozac Free" explores depression and treatment in a no-fuss, down to earth kind of way, and then uses individuals' stories to illustrate (1) different kinds of dominant feelings within depression, and (2) the different types of treatment used. I would recommend that a beginner to homeopathy start with something more general, though.

Book on Homeopathic Medicine
Homeopathic medicine is a wide open field. I feel it is valuable to know of alternatives to expensive drugs that can have side effects, and recommend this book.

Homeopathy Can Help Mental Issues, Too
I thought the topic was covered very well. Most aspects of mental issues ranging from mild to serious are covered with patient stories and examples to show that homeopathy can improve mental condition as well as physical issues. This is NOT an in depth reference for homeopaths. It is really a book for the lay person to introduce homeopathy and open their mind to the possibility of types of treatment that may support their search for mental health.

READERS DIGEST TYPE OF AN 'EXAMPLE PIECE' FOR THOSE INTRIUGED BY HOW HOMEOPATHS SEE SYMPTOMS
This is not A self help book; Although the Drs who wrote it are very worth while and real; The book is like an extended pamphlet to give you a grasp of homeopathy. An easy to read and put into simplest terms example book. I could see this in 4th grade to 6th grade reading material for health class. Or home schooling for 4th- 6 grade. Not really an explanation of what homeopathy is, except in very light terms, in the first few chapters. The best is to use it as an encyclopedia style reference. But a precocious third grader could learn more in depth understanding about this subject from a better source. This book explains homeopathy from the perspective of: testimonial examples by homeopaths explaining only a story of each person included in the book for the example. Generally using symptoms to give the reader a general simplistic view into what the homeopath is seeing, and referring to, for choosing a remedy based on the 'example patient's' symptoms. Good to show someone who has never heard of the word homeopathy, or confuses it with wholistic health, naturopaths, herbology, chinese medicine, acupuncture, or any of the the other modalities of care.
