At Home with White

I enjoyed this book a lot and it has very pretty pictures of white rooms.

Gorgeous spaces….high quality book. I find anything published by Rizzoli to be of the highest caliber…..very high end and many varied homes. Will look at this often and also enjoy as a coffee table book…

This is a lovely book – especially if you're into white in a big way.Atlanta Bartlett explores the use of all different shades of white (who knew there were so many?). I was especially inspired by some of the textures and furniture shown. Nice photography. All round a good coffee table book.

I love the decorating style of Atlanta Bartlett, it was a fun read and I incorporated some of her ideas in my own home. My husband and I both like white, you can add color with your accessories and change things easily.

Gorgeous photos and inspiration. She provides information on the use of the different shades of white, texture, pattern and display. And an introduction to creating different looks separated into: country, modern, romantic, classic, beach cottage. Elegant and relaxed. I also love Tricia Foley's white Christmas, she is a pioneer and incredible.

This book shows us that white is not sterile and cold and fussy, but warm and flexible and livable. Simple, quiet, elegant, modest, white is accessible without lots of fuss or major money layout or busyness.

Well, I must say that I am again very disappointed. The pictures are lovely, and the book wonderful, HOWEVER, I have seen almost every one of these photos before in my other decorating books. I'm really getting tired of buying a "new" book with recycled photos! I purchase a ton of interior design books, and have to say that others do the same thing--use the same pictures over and over. Just throw a new title on the cover, and re-sell the same ideas. What a way to keep the money flowing without any work. Let's get some new material authors.

I am glad I got this book and enjoy relaxing and looking at the beautiful rooms.

Adoro il bianco nell'arredamento in tutte le sue sfumature, quindi ho acquistato questo libro con grandi aspettative.Devo ammettere che sono rimasta un po' delusa per i contenuti davvero scarsi per essere all'altezza di un libro.Foto a volte banali, didascalie misere.Peccato non poter vedere qualche pagina dei libri prima dell'acquisto, come si farebbe in libreria, avrei evitato di comprarlo.Spedizione velocissima, come sempre, grazie.

Bought to provide inspiration for our new home, and there is lots of good advice, suggestions and ideas for white and other pale colour themes that are not cold, bland, boring or too delicate for family life. A useful book for every home and particularly property developers.

Ein schönes Einrichtungsbuch, dass den Stil des kompletten "Wohnens in Weiss" beschreibt. Viele inspirierende Fotos von verschiedenen Wohnungen verdeutlichen, dass dieser Wohnstil mehr als nur Einrichtung ist.Für alle Fans von aufgeräumten Räumen, für Puristen und für alle, die ihre Einrichtung neu überdenken. Klasse!

It was a great book to inspire you to live with more white. One of my favourites.

I'm currently in the process of changing my colour scheme to white after years of magnolia. I bought this book for some inspiration. Most of these kind of books are way beyond what I would master - but there's always something that leaps out as something that suits your style of decor and budget. The good thing is that it gives you a blank canvass that you can add seasonal colour with cushions / throws etc. The down side is that when painting over darker walls (even magnolia) that it takes several coats to look good. This book however, has inspired me to be bold and go white!
