HYDE 09997 Acrylic Knockdown Knife, 18-inch

Ive tried other knockdown knives. They never seem to work well and they drag the mud in uneven patterns. This knofe is so flexable that it just glides over the mud. Leaving it perfect everytime. Even when doing high ceilings with a pole attached. It just works great. They are so affordable and durable that ill probably never buy another one unless i loose this one.

I remodel homes for a living and often times need to do drywall repair myself because the job is too small to bring in a sub-contractor. I used to use other flat tools to do the knockdown but it never did a great job but my clients were pleased. I decided to buy this tool and now ALL my small drywall repairs look like they were done by full time drywall finishers. I am extremely pleased.

This tool did a great job

This knockdown knife worked great for the repairs I had to do to the ceiling in my house. Used it in conjunction with a special sponge to match surrounding ceiling pattern. Recommend washing well after every use.

Don’t short cut by standing on the floor. Use a stage and get up to where you can do a 15 degree angle. Never did knockdown ceilings before and it came out great.

As a complete newb when it came to fixing a knockdown ceiling, this tool combined with the knockdown sponge = 95% to original ceiling. 5 star recommendation. Anyone can fix a knockdown ceiling with this tool.

I like this product for knock down ceiling it works amazing. But it had a mick on the edge and had to be sanded out

Wish I would have had this on the last few renovations, really like the flexibility and that it's clear. Lightweight, works very well.
