Powell Furniture Barney Bear, Dark Brown Accent Table

The table could not be cuter - I have seen it! Very well made. HOWEVER - it ships in 2 boxes and Amazon seems to have issues with that. I have ordered twice, months apart, and each time I only got one box. You either get the top (glass) or the bottom (bear) - too bad you need both. I gave up - even though I really wanted it.

Sadly, love this little guy but as MANY others have said, you get 1 box, the bear, which is the base. The box clearly states it's the base. Super cute, but it's not a functional "table" without the top!! Somewhere in the warehouse are a gazillion boxes of glass table tops!!! Waaaa!!! 🙁 All Amazon can do apparently is process the return. I don't want to return it, I want the missing top!!! 🤷‍♀️ I've contacted the company, thus far, crickets...

I really like this cute little table. I pulled the glass top out of the box and it was in perfect condition, nicely packed. When I pulled the bear out of the box, I noticed little pieces that fell out. The nails of the bear’s paw were broken off. As I examined him, I noticed more little pieces/chips, not broken off all the way, still just hanging by an edge. This resulted in a speckling of the bear because it’s painted resin. I used a black sharpie to color the broken areas and it’s only visible if you look closely. But, I know it’s there and it bothers me. Additionally, I paid full price for a damaged item. I’m keeping him because I’m afraid the next might arrive in the same or worse condition. Too bad they didn’t package the bear as well as they packaged the glass top.

I am totally in LOVE with my table. Very well packed, prettier than the Amazon picture. Looks so real. Sturdy, strong, and the glass top is very safe and of good quality. I would purchase it again.

I got the bear with no top. I recently read a review that said they received the glass, but no bear. Well, I got the bear with no glass. It’s a great base for the table, very heavy and sturdy, but kind of useless with no top. However, it shipped very quickly and I am supposed to be getting a replacement soon with both the bear and the glass. We shall see . . .

The bear is absolutely adorable, but mine didn’t come with the glass top. I had a family member make a topper because i bought this for a christmas gift. So if you’re expecting a glass top, you probably shouldn’t!

Thankfully I got it cheap enough that it’s worth building my own top, would still been better to actually get one.
