Great Fit! Great Fan!
We removed an existing working Broan fan...Why? IT WAS WAY TOO LOUD!!!! In our search to replace the existing fan we found that finding the same dimensions to work within an existing custom hood was quite difficult. This fan met the exact dimensions (it was a little taller in the cabinet-doesn't matter except to mate up with the existing 6" duct) and is a whole lot quieter. The highest speed on this fan is exponentially less than the lowest speed on the removed Broan. Looks great too.

Best exhaust for the price
Compared this to much more expensive models from Wolf and other major brands. This is hands down the best unit and the price is great. Since this is an insert, there’s no reason to go with a major brand. This unit is very powerful and looks beautiful. It’s also very easy to clean. We talked to a lot of knowledgeable folks about exhausts and everyone recommends Zypher. If you go to any of the stores with Wolf, Subzero, Monogram, JennAir etc, you will notice that they carry Zypher because for the price you can’t beat it. Also love the wireless remote.

Does not recirculate through the unit, or come with the kit. You need to duck the air either way.
Being new to vent hood inserts, we purchased this unit because it had the recirculate option. The kit does not come with the unit, the kit is just a vent cover for on top of your cabinet and a charcoal filter. This unit does not recirculate like a microwave will. You will have to duck the air through your cabinet.Very good quality and is quite. Works a lot better then the microwave vent that it is replacing.Install is completely custom. You can purchase a stainless steel liner, but it is not required.
