Delivers what it promises
I took this Challenge today during lunch break at work with a couple of colleagues, and I can now say that these nuts deliver what they promise. The first 3 are actually not very hot, and if you have any tolerance built up to hot peppers you'll be able to get through them easily. But nut #4 is another story, and packs quite a punch. And of course, nut #5 (The Death Nut) is the ultimate test of one's pain threshold. Well, ok, maybe that's a bit extreme of a statement. Honestly, I didn't find The Death Nut to be SO hot that I had to run for the milk truck nor stuff a spoonful of Breyers vanilla ice cream into my mouth. Don't get me wrong, it's insanely hot, and the Pepper-X pulls no punches. And maybe it also has to do with the fact that my tolerance level to hot peppers is now pretty high after eating dabs of pure Carolina Reaper hot sauce on tortilla chips for a few months. So the actual heat from these nuts was not the worst for me......which brings me to the most difficult part (which other reviewers have mentioned). It's what happens afterwards, just a minute or two after The Death Nut is consumed. Your stomach feels like it's been slammed into by a block of concrete. Feelings of wanting to vomit will also creep up on you. But there are a couple of things you can do to lessen this. First, do this Challenge on a full stomach. For those who say that they experienced that sharp crippling stomach pain for hours, I'd bet that they took the Challenge on an empty stomach. I had a full meal right before, so for me the pain lasted about 15 minutes and then abated. It's now been 4 hours after I took the Challenge, and while my stomach feels rather "heavy" there is no pain. And second, eat some chocolate and/or peanut butter shortly after the Challenge. That will "neutralize" things a bit.I highly doubt I will take this Challenge again; I mainly did it to try Pepper-X. Suffering through it once was enough for me. So my 5-star rating is to say that these nuts deliver what they promise. No false advertising here. And I know that I'm by no means home-free yet, since as we all know, these peppers can emulate the Japanese flag on the way out.

SO MUCH FUN!!!
After watching YouTube videos of people trying this challenge I thought I would give it a try. Wow! Legit crazy hot! On eating the very first nut you know this is going to be tough. I love spicy food and this is on a whole different level. I actually managed to complete the whole challenge! What I didn’t see on the YouTube videos was what happens 30 minutes after... One of the worst pains I have ever felt! It was like I was being stabbed in the gut and everything was being twisted. I made it to my bathroom just in case I got sick. I laid on that cold tile floor in the fetal position thinking about how big a mistake this had been. After 15 minutes of horrifying gut pain I made my way to the bed. As long as I stayed in the fetal position the pain was tolerable. Took about an hour before I was able to move. Im not sure if I could have prevented the end result or not. Still I finished!!

We really wanted to try Pepper -X and figured this would be a great way to do it
Be ready. After the 3rd one your mouth is unable to register hotter, but your stomach will know the difference. We really wanted to try Pepper -X and figured this would be a great way to do it. Felt like someone punched me in the center of my stomach, but it was a great experience with a great group of friends, and a lot of laughs from spectators : )

Fun but not awe inspiring.
This was fun. I enjoyed doing the video, but found the Nuts less than spectacular. They were not as spicy as I expected. I have a hard time believing all the extreme reactions seen on you tube.

Damaged package
I bought this as a surprise for my brother because he was real excited to see if he could complete the challenge...when I received the package, the plastic box was a little beat up but that didn't bother me. However, when I took the peanuts out of the box, 3/5 of the peanut packs were opened. My brother was extremely disappointed because he'd be unable to complete this challenge. The 2 levels that were not open (1 and 2) he said were good but he was looking forward to the level 5.....

These are pretty hot, but I’ve definitely had worse
Some places that do hot wing challenges will definitely get you worse than this gauntlet. Yet, I did find myself voiding the contents of my stomach after eating some chicken nuggets post-death-nut challenge. I would do it again but if you really want to die, have a plate of piping hot buffalo wings lathered in Blair’s Ultra Death sauce!

Caution
They are hot. I don't think I need to tell you that but once my face went numb at the last nut it was a bit more than I thought. The hottest pepper on the last nut is around 2.5 million Scoville units. So word of caution it's slightly alarming to not feel your face.

Props for getting over $1.00 per nut
Props to the company for Great Marketing allowing them to get over $1.00 per nut ...not the YouTubers out there posting videos like they were going to die.Honestly I was disappointed, there is no way the entire Scoville Rating is in those nuts, they have been very diltued in the process ...3 of us took it, 2 of the 3 weren't real Heat Lovers. We all finished, the afterburn was no issue, we were not clamoring for something to drink....A little sweat but more of " was that it" I've had hotter fresh Jalapenos Serranos and such
