Great fit for wide feet
Having tried on another pair of Keen boots in a store, I knew they were perfect for my wide feet. I have big calves and they are wide enough at the top as well. Best features: Extremely warm, wide and very comfortable. I have wide feet and bought a size 11, and I have to wear thick socks otherwise there will be too much movement inside the boot. So for more narrow footed people, I would buy half a size smaller if you are not sure. Grip is good and they did not need to be walked in first. If anything, the lacing is a bit fiddly and the top of the tongue pressed against my shin, but again, that is due to the space my calf takes up. No fault of the shoe. I bought these as I am going to Iceland and so far, I am very happy. Would definitely buy again.

The only more comfortable boots I've ever had were also KEEN.
I've been wearing Keen boots for a few years now and have tried other brands since - most recently Berghaus Hillmasters and before that, Regatta Bainsford's.I had to send the Hillmasters back within the space of a morning's casual wear.I lasted a lot longer with the Regatta Bainsford, but ended up getting Plantar Fascitis which only cleared up after getting some new boots after having put up with them for about 10 months. In either case, neither ever came close to the comfort of KEEN boots when they're straight out of the box. This particular boot looks more durable than the last KEEN pair I had (a pair of Tempo Flex's, which are almost like a trainer/walking boot hybrid), but they're also about twice the price. The outsole is solid and looks like it will take a good amount of use to wear down. The speedhooks have a handy pinching mechanism to stop the laces from slipping once you've pulled them into place so you can get your desired tightness and they won't get slack while you're tying the laces.I can't comment on the quality of the laces as I always replace mine with lock laces anyway. The colour ("Magnet Tawny Olive") makes them look a bit too much like a good old fashioned welly, so I'm not a huge fan of that. I'd have much preferred a brown colour but that wasn't an option. In terms of comfort, as the title suggests - the only boots I've ever had that are more comfortable are also KEEN. Both the Tempo Flex I mention above, and the Karraigs' I had before them, were more comfortable - but neither felt like they were as hardwearing and generally, I'd only got about a year of use out of them before the outsole became too worn. These seem more hardwearing so hopefully I'll get longer out of them! The only other bit is that that toe box is massive - almost too big. Definitely better than being too small but I do worry that my feet may have a bit too much room to move. We shall see.

Amazing boots.
Amazing boots all around. Great grip in rough paths. Water proof 100%. Very comfortable, nice spring to your walk. Almost like walking downhill. Pricey but worth it. Definitely for trails and not worksites. Not steel toe even tho they look like it. Very slippery on wet lumber. Don't do it lol. I ordered the wrong ones but keeping them and ordered the right work boots 🤪
