Selle SMP TRK Medium MATT Black Saddle

Absolutely the most comfortable non-custom saddle I’ve ridden. Especially kind to your taint.But especially quirky to get the fit right as height, fore/back placement and seat tilt angle all become critical.Definitely watch some bike fit videos for SMP designs online so you can get it dialed. It will look “wrong” when it’s right is the best advice I can give other than learning about how/why it works and how to get the most out of fitment.

This Selle saddle is clearly a quality made item. Everything about it was very nicely done and really does make you feel like it was made with care. However, as everyone who rides bikes knows, a saddle is a very personal thing. I was really hopeful about this saddle from all of the reviews in multiple sites. But, despite the nice padding on it, I knew from the moment I sat on it and rode just a few feet that it wasn't for me. I am a fairly thin person; 5'9" and 150 lbs. I'm built thin, but with an athletic build. I could not find a spot to sit. My sit bones could not find a "ledge" to sit on. I just felt I was trying to balance on top of it. It's actually wider than most of my saddles, but there just wasn't a flat spot for me. So, I returned this item and will search again.

I started cycling in 2010 and have tried several saddles and I must say I wish I tried this one sooner. Total relief from perineal pressure I could ride all day in this saddle. For the price it cannot be beat.

These are very well made saddles. Perfect for males or females. I highly recommend this brand. You won't be dissatisfied.
