This is my first time to use this hydrometer. The hydrometer works well and is easy to read. The plastic graduated cylinder is durable, won't break at all and easy to clean. My friend and I used this hydrometer to brew beer, wine, mead, cider and Kombucha.

I am delicate with my many pieces of glassware and etc. and when i was done using this for the first time, the blub just snapped off while i was washing it. and it was not a tewmp shock thing either as it was room temp water. disappointed. but it did however work great that one time. you could tell the cheap quality just by the indicator on the inside. but i thought it was just ethetic, but it was actually poor workmanship.

 Nice quality，thick glass material, easy to measure the alcohol in making wine.Test jar is easy for reading value. Checked my beer with this hydrometer and I was right where I needed to be. Simpler is better for some things.

Useless as gradiations on hydrometer are too small to read and the graduated measure included in Kit is not as shown. NOT clear plastic but is opaque and white. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY

I used this product in the making of mead/honey wine. Was a little small and didn’t read as high as I would have liked but it worked.

This is a very handy product around the kitchen, it’s very useful and accurate when you cook, bake with wine or alcohol.

Directly out of the box, this hydrometer reads wrong. It shows the same reading no matter what it's put in: Water=.5% alcohol, must=.5%, fully fermented cider=.5% And its all BS because I know my cider's at least 5% and the water is 0%. Very disappointed in this one.
