It doesn't taste like Puffin (that's good because I would never eat one only adore them)!
So, I watch a live web cam to see live Puffins up close and personal like, compliments of Audubon Society/EXPLORE on Seal Island off the coast of Maine. Right now I'm in Puffin Frenzy Love. Ordered for the heck of it. Think I may have seen a flavor also listed as peanut butter. The cereal I ordered and received was Multigrain flavor. OMG - I LOVE it!I haven't even bought the milk that should go on the cereal yet - eat it dry and my dog, the mighty GoldenDoodle Cooper ~ thinks it's lip smackin' good too! Very nice surprise and there's a sweet rendering on the front of the box (which is of course why I bought it in the first place : )

Good cereal, bad deal.
This cereal has been great for my son while on an elimination diet. It’s delicious and the whole family is eating it even those without dietary restrictions. All that aside, I’m very disappointed in Amazon because they still haven’t cleared up the confusion of how many boxes come with this the item description says 6, but the size description says 12 (see included photo). Sometimes they have sent me 12 which is a great deal and sometimes 6 when I’ve placed the same order. For 6 boxes I end up paying more than at my local grocery store. I won’t be ordering more unless they clear up this quantity/pricing issue.

Terrific Cereal you have to try!
I was very optimistic when I purchased this cereal. I have to say I enjoyed every bit of it I only wished it came in a bigger box. The taste and smell was amazing and it's also healthy for you. I had mine with almond milk but I have to say I took a snack bag of these to work and ate them without almond milk. LOL THERE THAT GOOD!

Price went up 20% with the new packaging and there is less Cinnamon
Barbara's Bakery hyped the new packaging but neglected to mention that the weight went from 12oz per box to 10 oz per box. I use to purchase a 4 pack of the 12 oz old package for 15.57 and that works out to 32.4 cents per oz. the new price for a 6 pack of the 10 oz box works out to 39 cents per ounce. That's a 20% price hike in a period of low to no inflation. Thanks for the nice new package guys. I much prefer the old package at the old price and will be checking out other cereals with the intent of eliminating cinnamon puffins from my diet. The cereal also tastes different - not as good. I looked at the ingredients and noticed that in both the old and new product there is 150 mg of salt. However, in the old ingredient list cinnamon came before salt. In the new ingredient list it comes after salt. Thus, there is less cinnamon in the new cereal. You can really taste the difference. The old recipe was much tastier. Again, my hat is off to Barbara's Bakery. The price went up and the taste is not nearly as good. Great job guys.January 20, 2011 Update: I have replaced cinnamon puffins with other cereals. Bring back the old taste which I loved so much and I'll buy again, even at the increased price.

Love the Puffin cereals. good crunch and stay crunchy. good flavor.
I really like the Puffin cereals. I'm glad they're gluten free and they come in different flavors. They are a little pricey for what you get but most gluten-free foods are high. They have a good flavor and a nice crunch and stay crunchy in milk. They are something I would buy again and have bought for quite a while now.

I bought 12 boxes!
a really good quality cereal that actually tastes good. I first bought a box of this locally and could not believe how good it tasted and the ingredients are excellent. They are like little charms of marshmellow and candy taste to me! They are a puffed rice and they will satisfy your sugar craving as they taste deliciously sweet while not giving a sickening sweet aftertaste or feeling after you eat it like other sugar type cereals. you can eat a lot of this or just a small bowl and you will not feel sickly stuffed but satisfyingly full either way :). After this, i'll be branching out and trying new flavors of Barbara's puffins cereals. Yumm!oh, tastes even better with homemade almond milk!

This is our compromise cereal.
I judge a cereal largely on how full it leaves me, and this one is great for leaving me satiated. My daughter (4) wants the sugary cereals, of course, and this is a good compromise. It is sweet, but not too sweet and I don't feel like I'm just feeding her junk food. The price is steep (the boxes are small) but that's the tradeoff.

Disappointed! CONTAINS: SOY
Having food allergies I have trouble finding cereal I can eat. This was a huge find for me, or so I thought. The taste is great! Finally real cereal again. No where did it state that there was any Soy in the ingredients (not when I first purchased it in the store) as it's not located on the box where it should be.I found it on Amazon and bought the 12 boxes to save some money. Looking over the listing briefly to make sure it was the same item. When I started having problems I went back to the description on Amazon only to discover the "Important Health Information" listed at the bottom. This should be ON THE BOX!!!! CONTAINS: SOY. It was written small and stated in was "in the corn". Thankfully someone in my family can eat it so the money is not wasted. But very disappointed in this company. They have a wonderful product, but should have listed the allergen information on the box! This is very dangerous!
