Gel Insoles by Syono - Shoe Inserts for Plantar Fasciitis Foot Pain Relief (Women 5-9 / Men 4-7)

I bought these expecting the extra high price tag to really deliver. There are several gel insoles on the market ranging in price from $5 to $50, at least. I recently bought some from a discount aisle for $5 and they work as well, if not better, than the $30 I spent on these insoles. I am disappointed only in the price. As far as gel insoles go, they are all right. They perform to their gel function. The arch isn't very high, it's not that noticeable for me, so be warned on that front also. Did I mention the awesome $5 gel insoles I got from a discount aisle? I think the contrast of the prices is what makes the $5 pair pretty wonderful in my eyes vs the disappointment of the $30 spent on a pair of gel insoles, enhancing the latter pairs mediocrity. I also think that gel insoles are not a medical device, I'm not exactly certain, but I don't think these are items you can get custom made from a podiatrist or other custom orthotic producer. In light of that fact, it would seem that gel insoles are gel insoles. The plastic support on the heel and arch may inhibit breakdown over time. I'd rather pay $5 and have a insole life. Lesson learned.

I don't usually write reviews but after trying four other brands of insoles, this one was so superior to the others, I just wanted other customers to know. I have heel pain and a bunion, so its always a balance of how to take the impact off the front of the foot or the back of the foot. Other insoles I have tried helped some but not enough. These Syono insoles have given me the most relief of any I have tried. After using them for a week, I ordered my husband a pair and he loves his as well.They come in a generic size and I had to trim mine, but it did not affect the performance. My husband's set fit his shoes perfectly. I have tried insoles that cost more and some that cost less and these are the first ones that I did not feel like I wasted my money. I certainly recommend them.

Bought two of these.First one I already cut so not exactly returnable anymore. I fit this first one into a pair of 2" heeled boots that were way too hard on my feet compared to my cushier shoes, and I have lower back pain. I was VERY disappointed - the entire day I kept feeling like it was going to slip off. That, and the whole thing kept *rolling* downwards - it was as if the whole thing had absolutely NO grip on my shoe!At first, I thought maybe it was because it was a heeled shoe. Or maybe because I didn't leave enough trim on the outer edges (it fit perfectly into my shoe, with some extra on the edges to keep it in place...which didn't work anyway).So, I tried it on a pair of flat footed shoes. Same thing. It kept feeling like it was going to slide right off, I could CLEARLY feel the squishyness as if I was constantly stepping on a very slippery flubber down there.I also tried it on a pair of shoes that had more insulation, hence bringing the walls of the shoe closer in on the insert to make *more outer edge.*Didn't work either. Same slippery flubbery squishy-slipperiness.Nasty feeling to have under your feet.The second one I bought was left unopened, was meant to be used for another pair. I'm returning it.

there is no way to "test" this product out prior to cutting to fit, rendering it non-returnable. If there had been a way, I would not hesitate to return immediately. They made absolutely no difference that I could tell.I want to add a comment to my above review. Today I was contacted by the business owner and due to my dissatisfaction with the product, he offered to refund me in full. Given his concern for customer satisfaction, I would like to change the experience of shopping with this merchant from 2 to 4 stars.

not sure what size these are suppose but I had to cut down to the last line which says size 4, I'm a 7 1/2. I wore on Halloween with socks (which I never wear) and my feet were sweaty I had to take them out and the socks off. then you could feel the insoles moving every step I took. they did make the ball of my foot feel better also no arch support its just all gel with a nylon type cover. But the do feel good just not for me. After emailing with the company a full refund was issued. Very nice and helpful working with them thank you

Four stars because I had to cut away quite a bit to make a size 6. I had to cut past the last one and into the design of the insert some. I know six is a small shoe but based on the sizes that it said it fit I wasn't happy halfing to cut away so much of the insole, other than that it's a nice and it helps make my boots comfortable.

I wear prescription orthotics in athletic and martial arts shoes, but in others - like clogs, slip-ons, and Mary Janes - I've relied on high quality over-the-counter insoles for years. I'm happy to say the ProFoot 2 oz Miracle Custom Molding Insoles are the best I've ever used, and I will certainly order them again from this vendor. The insoles came in a package of three, so I gave one pair to a long-time friend bothered by some low back pain and sciatica. She hadn't used insoles before, but when she tried the ProFoot she said she was amazed (and delighted!) by the relief they offered.(PS: My friend is 70 and I'm 73. We depend upon our shoes, and the support they offer, to help us maintain the stability we need to stay active)

Whenever I buy good running shoes, I toss the inserts already in them and purchase a good pair of insoles. I picked the best in this case. I have no foot problems, and I don't need orthotics, just insoles that further cushion my feet. The Syono Gel Insoles were very easy to cut and adjust to my shoes. And they're comfortable (although I'm still looking for the magical inserts that feel like walking on clouds). Shipping was easy and fast.
