Breath taking story
What to write? I bought Misaka Mikoto figure and wanted to know her story. I was more then surprised. I have seen all the story twice and will see it again in the near future :) It was very moving and death breathing story line. Regarding product it is 5star. Only regret that the Japanese subtitles are missing, but it has all English version BlueRay for region B.

Great series, but...
Let's get the issues out of the way first. As someone else mentioned, this is a DVD / Blu Ray combo pack, the reason they did this is fairly obvious as financially it makes more sense than to package and sell the DVD and Blu Ray separately. What doesn't make sense is the packaging as they opted for a larger DVD size packaging rather than putting the disks into a blu ray size box set and this could have been an option as other combo packs have done it. The box is also cheap feeling compared to the season 1 blu ray release. If you bought season one on DVD, this isn't much of an issue, if you have it on blu ray and you have shelves specifically for blu rays, then you are out of luck. All in all Manga UK should have left the release under the control of their Animatsu division instead of moving it away from them and releasing it directly themselvesOf cause those are minor issues and while it simply encouraged me to wait until it was at a cheaper price than the release price, it doesn't detract from the content.Season 2 is the stronger of the two seasons, of Railgun for one reason, the Sisters Arc, this is why we are all here, and now we have the whole event from Mikasa's perspective and it doesn't disappoint.Of cause there is the usual filler in season 2, with the whole of the second arc being unique to the anime and not found in the manga. Also as with season 1, this is only worth watching in the sub, more so here, this isn't elitism, it is just the dub performances are horrific, in the sub the Sisters are given different Seiyuu to Mikoto, in the dub Brittney Karbowski does both voices, and while this time she's trying, there is still often little distinction between the two voices, this is why the original used two different actresses. The acting is also on a totally different level, as there is a failure to commit to the lines and express the feelings, this is a common issue, but more so here, episode 14 on the bridge is a perfect representation of the issueThen we get to the acting of Accelerator, one is unhinged and psychotic, the other tries, but he's just not that kind of guy and is hard pressed to match an award winning performance that shaped the role. And of cause, we get the the issue that has blighted the whole series, the moronic script change where someone decided it would be a good idea to transcribe oneesama to Sissy, a respectful term for big sister, and they choose to go with Sissy which feels so out of context and against the intention of what the characters are conveying when they say it.

Tolle Fortsetzung

Only My Railgun Can Shoot It Imasugu
2nd Season of A Certain Scientific Railgun (Toaru Kagaku No Railgun) is just as good as the first, if you loved the first season's Characters and plot, then you will like the second season and will leave you wanting more :P, its a bit of a pain with how its released with bigger box and two separate cases for both DVD and Blu-Ray and not like the first Season's nice Chipboard case, but other than that the Anime is top notch and very enjoyable, if you like this you should give A Certain Magical Index (Toaru Majutsu No Index) a watch as well!
