Quiet, comfortable, good retention, holds close to your body
I was impressed at how well this holster worked when I wanted to conceal my Glock 40. This is any I like it:1. It is comfortable2. It is quiet (no squeaking)3. Good retention (will stay in holster upside down with a full mag of 200gr bullets4. Conceals well, holds the gun tight to my body5. The holster covers the muzzle. THIS IS A BIG DEAL! If you need to sit down on a hard surface like a wooden chair, the barrel won't hit the surface and cause the gun to start pushing out of the holster.Cons:1. I have had to tighten the screws on the clips a few times but other than that no issues... just keep an eye on them.2. You cannot holster your weapon with one hand, you have to hold the top up with your fight hand. This holster will hold it closer to your body because of this however.Definitely my favorite holster so far

Just buy the damn thing!
This holster is amazing. I have not found one more comfortable ANYWHERE. At first I thought an IWB holster for a glock 40 was asinine, but after I got it, and used it I was gladly proven wrong.I am a larger guy, so this might not be the case for other people, but this holster makes it so I can conceal carry this monstrosity with almost not outlines.I love this product!

Glock 40 MOS with Vortex Venom IWB Holster
So I needed to talk with Black Arch and ended up ordering directly from them. Added the plastic clips instead of standard clips. Came faster than I anticipated. Since I intend to add very tall sights to co-witness with my optic I was concerned that the tall front sight would be a problem but they assured me they had future proofed the holster and it would not only work well with my Venom but tall front sights would be fine. Also they have a military discount and since I am retired that helped. So once I received it I could see that the tall front sights should not be a problem. The optic is well clear of the holster. The good news: quality product either equal to or exceeding Alien Gear which does not make a IWB holster for the Glock 40. I like the plastic clips which are similar to other IWB holsters I own. When I fit fit the weapon in it it was to tight but loosening screws and taking time I got to what I consider to be just slightly tight but it sure will not fall out. The clips came on the middle setting but for me it didn’t work well so I moved them to the lower holes which raises the holster slightly when wearing it. This enabled me to store the weapon much easier. The cant on this is very little and so the weapon is more vertical than say my Glock 35 in an Alien Gear. I found it more comfortable to wear more on the side than the typical 4 to 5 o’clock position. Good news is it is totally comfortable to sit. The drawback with so little cant is a slightly more vertically draw when removing the weapon but it is comfortable. For all the folks out there who believe the Glock 35 and especially the Glock 40 are not good for concealed carry....to each his own. I like it and especially the Glock 40 with optic. So accurate at 25 yds and the confidence of a 10mm with 6 inch barrel is worth the slight extra weight for me. Holster with weapon, optic, magazine with 15 rounds totals 3 lbs 4 oz. I am 6’ and 185 lbs and honestly it just doesn’t seem to be a problem. The FBI is moving from 40 S&W to 9mm and I am moving to 10mm and plan to stay current with 40 S&W also. Hornady Custom and Glock works for me. All the materials seem high quality to me. I am happy with this holster.
