The way it is made.
This high chair cushion is being used in a Jenny Lind wood high chair, 40 years old, for my new grandson. I just wish it had more strings on it to tie on. It had enough padding. Very nice.

Needs to be plastic
This pad fits well in my high chair. The only thing that should change is the material it is made out of. It should be plastic so i can wipe it down after each use. I have to wash it in the machine every other day which puts wear and tear on it. It would be perfect if it was plastic.

Not waterproof, but cheap enough to buy a few to switch out as needed
Love that it’s got a little padding and love that it’s cheap enough to buy a couple to switch out when dirty. I do wish it was made of a waterproof cover so it could be wiped down instead of having to completely remove and wash it when dirty.

Great new cushion for an old high chair that was handed down! Cannot wipe clean. Use gently cycle in the wash!

Loved it until I washed it.
I thought this was a great purchase. Fit the high chair great, looks cute, comfy for the baby, and affordable. Then when I washed it...the stains came out nicely, but the side of the material near the hem was shredded! I was so bummed. If I can’t wash it, it’s not for my baby. I’ll only be using it now until I can find a replacement. I recommend saving your money and time and purchase a different cushion.

Colorful and comfy
I liked the colors and style and it fit my 35 year old high chair well. But it only receieved 3 stars because some of the seams were not sewn shut. I did not have time to wait for a replacement, so I stitched them together myself. Whoever sewed and inspected this piece did not do a good job.

Not Waterproof
This high chair cover is not as described. It is definitely not waterproof, liquids are immediately absorbed into the fabric. Also, the ties at the top to secure the cover to the chair are not strong enough. Cheaply made and would not recommend
