Fine bookshelf stereo, falls short for one thing I needed
I ordered one model LP-886 in March 2022 (henceforth “2022 Model”), which I have enjoyed very much.I ordered 2 more model LP-886’s in February 2025 (henceforth “2025 Model”) but their performance was inferior to the earlier model, so I returned them.The decision to return was primarily based on the following:• 2022 Model would read and play thumb drives up to size 64 GB, formatted exFAT. 2025 Model would only read up to 32 GB, formatted FAT32• 2025 Model would not read a thumb drive with larger files, such as podcasts, audio books, or ambient MP3s. I did not determine the largest file size the latter units would read once it ceased to perform as I desired• I did not like the layout of the 2025 remotePerhaps there are workarounds to my issues that I did not yet discover, and I may have been spoiled by the straight-forward use of the 2022 Model. I am certain the 2025 Model LP-886 would meet the needs of most consumers. As I did not use the other functions, I cannot comment on the overall quality of the current 2025 Model LP-886, only the properties that I wanted.

Love the sound! I'm impressed. It's a basic cd player with all the basic features; equalizer, mode, scan. Great price!

Great Compact Stereo!
Very easy to assemble and use. And, you can operate it without having to just use the remote. Yay! The sound is pretty amazing for a compact stereo system and the bass is nice. It's sound is big enough to fill small, medium or even larger rooms. Like other reviewers, I wanted a unit that plays my extensive CD collection and this one fits the bill. I highly recommend this stereo!

Not good for regular radio listening
We are returning this item - we bought it for the radio and sadly every time you turn the unit off - it clears the radio station you were listening to, so you have to find your station every time you use it. We also were using it for talk radio and it is just too bass - we tried all the different settings and none are clear - voices are not crisp, they are fuzzy sounding. I am sure it would be fine for music, but not good for spoken word. Unit is attractive. We didn't try the CD player. Remote is useful.

It okay the cd doesn't work all the time I shuts off I clean my cds but it still shuts off

Exactly what I expected
Perfect stereo, radio, cd player, perfect size for my small place, easy to use, and set up. Your going to love it, sound is of high quality, definitely recommend
