Fret Rocker AND String Height Gauge - Deadly Accurate 100% Made in the USA

This is a nice piece of kit. I do some fabrication work and like accurate, thoughtfully designed tools, no matter how simple the tool is. This is one of them. The action height markers are not only perfectly contrasted, they're actually milled into the plate so the paint won't ever wear off. The machining on it is insanely good. The logo is even perfectly machined into it. And yeah, it's dead accurate. Seriously nice, here. The picks, sticker, and hand-signed business card are thoughtful touches. Highly recommend.

Very heavy duty, the quality is top notch..

Easy, convenient, and a sturdy piece of metal. The only thing I don't love about it is the 64th-inch measurement markings on the side are a bit thick and start at 2/64. The lines are finer on something like the FretGuru where you can measure down to 1/64. I didn't factor this into my rating because I didn't buy this for the measurements. I bought it because I needed a fret rocker.

This is an expensive fret rocker! But, it is the most true edge on all 3 sides I have used! Period! If you do any fret work, I highly recommend it. It will make your fret work easier and faster. All aluminum and the shipping was fast. Just buy it if your on the fence about the price n. You won't regret it.

Its a straight edge. Understand that close tolerances of flatness are somewhat difficult to machine, but hard to understand why these types of tools are so expensive. Still, less than other suppliers.

Cheaper than other name brands without sacrificing quality. Checked against my fret leveling beam and it is dead flat.

If Stew-Mac tools are the Snap On brand in guitar repair, then Fret Guru are the industry's version of Mac tools - EVERY BIT AS GOOD AS SNAP ON BUT LESS EXPENSIVE - thus are a terrific value for the money.I have bought everything Fret Guru sells and have yet to regret any buying decision. The tools are well made, durable, all numbers are visible, and FG stands behind their products.Before you blow your $ on more expensive tools, I suggest trying Fret Guru and their fret rocker works perfectly.

This is an accurate fret rocker. The one I got in one of the El Cheapo "spot level your fret" kits registered that all the Frets rocked. Even after filing the side that rocked it continued to rock on every fret. When put against this fret rocker I could see where it was off.This fret rocker is as accurate as you're going to get, I think. The owner is also very responsive if you have questions, since he also does luthier work. Added to the fact that it's noticeably less expensive than the "other guy" who sells luthier tools I think this is a good value and a great tool. I will be back for more.
