Acupuncture Pen, EFUTONPRO Meridian Acupoint Energy Massage Pen, Needleless Acupuncture Tools for Pain Relief and Healthcare

I bought 2 of these from 2 separate sellers to compare the quality. I often have excruciating pain in my hands from severe overuse as an athlete, doctor, author etc etc so thought I would give it a go. I am not sure if I am doing it correctly but when in severe pain and if my hands are swollen, I use my medical knowledge and the pen every other day and it really helps. When things are not to bad I use it about once a week. HOWEVER, AS A MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL, I FEEL IT'S MY RESPONSIBILITY TO SAY THAT, I suggest you: 1) Check with your GP or other doctor before you use this. It might worsen you current condition. 2) STOP immediately if you feel that something is wrong & seek medical help if you need to 3) Research it at least a little BEFORE using it (DEFINITELY READ THE INSTRUCTIONS FIRST). I also found that a better quality gel makes the process easier, as the gel supplied melts quickly and drips too easily. ALSO, the instructions in at least one of the sets I purchased mentioned that you might/would feel some electricity going through the hand holding the pen, so shift the position you hold the pen in etc. This can be uncomfortable for some, so USE WITH CARE.

I was skeptical about this but decided to try it. The pen came with a simple to understand and easy to follow instruction leaflet. The only drawback, which is not down to the tool, is that personally I am not able to turn my arms to get to the points on my shoulders or my back. Still, I have been surprised by its effectiveness on easing the ache on my left arm.

I bought this to try and relieve severe pain in my knee brought on by arthritis after knee surgery , the NHS have been less than helpful , just wanting to pump me full of painkillers. I was advised these little pens were great , I rather sceptically purchased one thinking if it doesn’t work it’s less money than a couple of beers . Well so far I’m blown away , using this little beauty I’ve had my first pain free nights sleep in years . It may not work for everyone , but what have you got to lose by giving it a go

Had painful arthritis in one finger - after a few applications it resolved, so I am very happy with this device, although the off switch stopped to work so I remove the battery instead. Really simple to find nerve trigger points with it.

I am reviewing this item, which I have had for only a few days, simply as a product, a thing, rather than comment on it's effectiveness which I think would take time and may be rather subjective. What do you get for your £11? I was impressed. The pen itself is solidly built, comes with two head attachments, two pots of conductive gel and an information leaflet. You need to supply one AA battery. I was surprised at the "kick" the pen delivers, considering it's only powered by 1.5 volts, I can only tolerate it at half power on my hands, though I suppose if you use it somewhere with thicker muscle you may need the extra levels. The little pots of gel are handy for travel purposes but don't contain much: you will need to buy more and if you search Amazon you can find a litre of ultrasound gel (the same thing) for £5....don't spend more on fancy little bottles! The gel is necessary as it noticeably improves the amount of current being transferred to your skin. Whether the therapy works or not only time will tell, and even then probably is different for different people: other reviews here would seem to indicate it does for some at least, but I can say that for £11 you are getting a device that operates as advertised, seems well enough built, and comes with a few useful extra's.

Seems to be relieving my shin strain and it’s so easy to set up and use nice compact size so easy enough to take with me to the gym , would recommend if your into any physical sport

Not sure how long or often I need to use it but only used a few times and I have to say no different

It doesn’t switch on even with new batteries. I have tried using the batteries both sides and it still doesn’t work. Disappointed.
