I bought 2 of these - one for each of our umbrellas on our deck. They work really well with absolutely no hassle. Right out of the box, these have provided sufficient light for 3 dinners out on the deck with no charging required. They attach to and detach from the umbrella poles with ease. The light intensity and color temperature is perfect. They seem to be well constructed.They are more expensive than other products in the category but are well worth the extra dollars in my opinion.

The light is indeed warm and pleasent, especially when the item is inverted and the light bounced off the under side of the umberella, so I love that part. However, the product image here on Amazon makes the wood effect look very realistic and classy....the reality is that the item looks like a poor plastic attempt at wood imitation....so if your priority is the lighting effect then it is great, but if you also want it to look aesthetically pleasing then you will be disappointed with this product.

Nice bright soft white light. So bright in fact that a dimer switch would be a nice addition.

This produces a decent amount of light when it's plugged in, but doesn't work at all without the cord. The cordless feature was the attraction to me. I don't want a cord hanging down my umbrella pole then attached to yards of extension cords to reach the nearest outlet.

This product is wonderful! I use it every night as we sit on the patio for dinner in the late October darkness. My family and friends love it. The light is easy to attach to the umbrella pole. It can be used with the LED lights facing down or the position can be reversed with the lights facing upward and reflecting off of the underside of the umbrella. The latter position is my favorite. The lights add a warm glow which is inviting and attractive. I highly recommend this product!

The box that was delivered looked like it had taken a tough trip around the world, stopping in quite a few war zones. The box inside seemed to have fared a little better and the lamp itself survived with some scrapes. The light seems to work, however, since it's delivery, we have been under a flash flood advisory. In fact, this morning I found my umbrella out of the table lying upside down against my kitchen window. Suffice it to say I tested the light immediately, but will have to wait until the rain ceases to do a real life test.

We really struggled to find a way to light our outdoor dining area. We tried candles - too dim. We tried conventional LEDs - too bright. We didn't want electric cords - too ugly. We saw this product and noticed that its Kelvin level (its light warmth) was in the 'warm range' and decided to give it a try. It works perfectly. We turn it upside down so the light is focussed upward (towards a light colored umbrella). The resultant light is exactly what we wanted - a warm glow over our dining area. We've used it for three dinners so far and haven't had to recharge it yet. Definitely a great product and worth the extra money (especially for the quality of the light).
