The bigger the better
I bought this to replace my previous grill, I didn't check the dimensions and this one is a good bit bigger than I had expected, this has not been a problem though, I really like it and the increased size means that I can cook more at a time.I find this really useful for the standard stuff like sausages, bacon and home made burgers, but also great for veg. Cauliflower, onions, courgette, tomato etc, I just stick them on with a bit of olive oil and seasoning and they are cooked to perfection. Tenderstem broccoli is ready in about 120 seconds with a sprinkle of oil, garlic and chilli and sometimes a wee bit cheese melted into the bushy bit. Don't get me started on halloumi - there is no better way to toast it than on a grill like this. I recently did a keto diet and used this grill almost every night. for the non keto options it makes a lovely toasted sandwich or panini, or what we probably very wrongly call a quesadilla wrap, basically cheese with salt and cumin toasted in a flat bread wrap with a little vegetable oil to crisp up the out side.Where my last grill fail was in the cleaning, and it was more a case of me failing it rather than vice versa. I didn't clean immediately after use and eventually I just could not get the grill clean. I how wipe and oil whilst it is still warm - so far so good.

Requires electricity to operate
This is my biggest George Foreman grill to date and is very good. However, the cooking plates do not detach for cleaning, but it's quite easy to clean anyway. There was no scraper included in the box like I always had included in my previous twenty years or so of these health grills. This seemed odd. However, It cooks stuff well and quickly. As with all other health grills, the temperature could not be manually controlled, but it puts heat on and off by thermostatic control, as with all my previous smaller grills You must turn it off at the mains plug when you have finished cooking, or it will stay on. Best to unplug it from wall socket to be quite sure. A good product.

GF Red Steel large grill review
The grill works well bacon chicken etc..be careful not to overdue them though easily done as it cooks quick. I like making toast on it or perhaps you can call it griddles bread, comes out bit flatter and slightly crunchy again you will need to work out the time for how you like it..The downside.. I knew before I bought it hasn't got a timer , very easy to leave on and walk away I've done it twice already in a few days..I have bought an electric timer for the plug and will not use it without.. imagine of you used it on the morning and went out leaving it on.. I'm surprised now that they haven't put a timer on it. It needs one just like a kettle or a toaster does! I have purchased an electronic timer £15 for the plug. The other thing is the plastic flap at the back that raises it up at an angle to make sure juices drip out is quite flimsy thin plastic would have expected it to perhaps been twice as thick. But it looks cool and I like it and it cooks great.

Easy to use
Love the choice of foods that can be used in the grill. Have tried sausages, gammon steaks, Lamb chops, toasted sandwiches, tomatoes. There is no weight in the plate covering top of foods and so the toasted sandwiches remain crisp and not squashed flat like some sandwich makers. The hinge allows some depth of food to be grilled without putting any weight on it. The booklet contains all the instructions you need to get you started including possible timings which are a good guide til you find your choice. The grill is very easy to clean when cold. Just use kitchen roll. The tray at the front can be removed so you can clean out the fat that has dripped from your meats. A very good buy and it makes cooking the food that bit more inviting.

The generous size of the cooking surface.
I like the fact that it's very quick cooking and easy to wipe clean when used, it's better to clean while still warm. The size of the grill is very generous indeed and food doesn't stick. I marinated some diced chicken in greek yoghurt and tika curry powder and cooked them on skewers, half expecting them to stick but was no problem at all. To my surprise they only took 6 minutes. Only down side is that there is no heat control, but if you turn the food a couple of times it's fine. Cooked food has the appearance of being barbecued and tastes delicious. Wouldn't be without it now.
