Great Looking, But Remove The Filter Box From The Glass
Hi allIf you're looking to buy a fish tank that is ready to go, this would definatially not be the tank. The problem with the tank is that you have a fixed filter and heater box inside that takes up a lot of room and collects a lot of dirt.If you're like me and you like the look of this tank or that you find this will fit your space better then don't worry. It's very simple to cut the filter box away with a long kitchen knife. Use a Stanley blade longways against the glass and remove the sealant which was used to fix the box in place.Don't use the filter that comes with this tank, it's useless. Mine broke within three days and the replacement needed cleaning every other day. I bought the Marina i110 which is awesome and is silent.Don't forget to buy a heater for your tropical fish and with all the extra room you now have without the filter box you should be good to my a few items to compliment the tank.It looks great and without the filter box it will operate better too.Even at this price and buying the extras etc it's still a good deal I think. Make sure you look around though, I found my tank elsewhere online cheaper.

Nice but beware...
As stated by several other owners, the filter broke quite quickly, we replaced it.One fish disappeared, and turned up trapped in the filter housing. Don't know how....As with others, we removed the filter/heater housing and now have more open space and separate hidden heater/pump & filter. Electrics/lights work well though and no other issues.

Lights not good at all, and cant be replaced.
The blue nightlight started to flicker after about 8 months, and eventually one side of them stopped working. You cant replace the lights on this. Ended up buying a basic aquarium where everything can be replaced if needed. I removed the filter housing because it takes up too much space. An aquarium should definitely last more than a year!

Crack appeared on bottom of tank in few months
I got this tank from a local fish store. Beautiful tank but after a while the filter started to act up and my tank develop a large crackers in the bottom, which leaked all over my carpet and narrowly missed water cascading into the plug socket. The tank has been filled and not moved for a few months and the cracks occurred by itself, so I won't buy a replacement as don't trust the glass not to crackers again. A real shame as I loved how this looked.

This tank looks nice, the filter an heater system work well
This tank looks nice, the filter an heater system work well, but a big let down was that the dimmer function did not work at all and the only way to turn the lights on an off is by unplugging the main

Fails its main purpose.. keeping fish alive.
The designers of this tank need a foot firmly up their backside. Most of this particular product line could only be referred to as 'nano' tanks and so should expect to be housing nothing but the smallest of fish outside of maybe a centrepiece fish that is happy to live solo/in a pair. The housing around the filter seems to attract fish and them trap them in an environment right next to the heater with turbulent water and the grimiest part of the tank. Thankfully I noticed that half a dozen of my fish (chilli rasboras) were missing, sadly all too late for 4 of them who had died.Utterly abhorrent that a company would fail so spectacularly to guard the intakes of the inbuilt filter box with sponge or something and I'm left feeling completely foolish for thinking that a company specialising in aquariums would have done the remotest amount of product testing and research. Poor fish. Even if you're hardhearted enough to shrug off the wasted life, fish are not cheap either. To top it off the filter casing doesn't come off easily and I had to snap it apart to get the remaining fish out. I can't get the rest of it off the side of the tank either so I'm left with this ugly half casing on the side of my tank.Do. Not. Buy. This. Tank.Preferably do not buy from this manufacturer either. If they can't even be bothered to do basic product testing they do not deserve custom.

Plug and play aquarium
Ok the basic essence of the tank is fine. Lighting good. Price good, build ok just acceptableCons, the silicon seams are not tidy.CONS The filter box managed to kill 2 small tetras which managed to swim in. Badly designed wouldn't recommend. If you do buy one it may be better to take the filter box out, as far as I can tell it is glued in.The included filter is not very good either. Can not recommend for small fish, if any more fish die, the hack saw is going to come out.
