This is a very comprehensive book. I highly recommend it.

I would recommend this product to anyone who has minor damage to an oriental rug - or to anyone who is simply interested in oriental rugs! It provides a good general history and background to rug-making and a guide to the origin and 'meaning' of various pattern types. It advises on everyday care and offers easy-to-follow advice on how to go about repairing different kinds of minor damage. It's about 30 years old now, but all the facts and advice still stand, it's written in a very engaging and easy-to-understand style, and I am extremely pleased that I was able to purchase such a little treasure at such a low price.
