X5 winshield sun shade
This item is too big and very cumbersome to install and doesnit sit flat you have to bend it around the rear view mirror with knocks it out of position and you have to adjust the mirror everything you take this shade in and out and I'm afraid it's going to end up making my mirror loose ,and tye constant bending has also caused some threads to fall apart and uts only been 1 week since I started using this shade ,I will be returning

A good compromise between the inexpensive sunshades, and the very expensive ones
I have had several sunshades over the years.The worst ones were the spring loaded type that folds up by moving your hands in some sort of magician move and it folds into a smaller section. Then I had the foil type that folds up into whatever size it wants to.This sunshade is one that folds up nicely, but it is not super rigid. I also have a more solid sunshade, but it's still flexible, and finally, I have one that is probably a piece of wood covered in cloth.This one is a good compromise between flexible / foldable, and too stiff.This sunshade is very reflective on one side, and the other side a darker, reflective material.The reflective material, is very reflective. This may be good for the interior, but for people outside, this may be a lot. Even putting this up at night, the refection of the street light was bright.Overall, this is a nice sunshade.One odd thing, is the instructions. Step 3 says "there may not extend fully...the gap is necessary to prevent damage to the sunshade". I am not understanding why there is a slight gap, and why this prevents damage to it?

Keeps the car cooler
FYI - this windshield shade also fits a 2014 Camaro. It's well made, easy to use, and it seems to keep the car cooler. With summer temps reaching 100 degrees or higher, this windshield shade performs as advertised.
